Arts Alliance Features Expanded Programming in 2023

The Arts Alliance is excited for continued programming growth with changes in locations, additional options, and development to meet the needs of the community.

In 2023, the Deerfield Handmade Markets will be seeing big changes with two new venues and additional features. The Deerfield Handmade Market Summer has now been renamed the Deerfield Handmade Market Summer Arts & Jamboree and is moving to Kingswood Park. The event will showcase 100+ artists, makers, and creators. Guests will also enjoy a complete lineup of musical performances by local bands. The event will bring food trucks, breweries, and family art making.

The Deerfield Handmade Market Fall will remain at Cottell Park. The Deerfield Handmade Market Winter is being relocated to Kings High School, where guests will enjoy the works of up to 90+ artists. “The connection and partnership between The Arts Alliance and Kings Local Schools is really exciting,” says Meredith Raffel, executive director of The Arts Alliance.

A terrific Summer Art Camp schedule will include a vast array of art making opportunities to be held in the Bungalow at Cottell Park. Additional camps have been added, in partnership with Strive Academy, to concentrate on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, math), to be held in the Snyder House.

The Arts Alliance in partnership with Deerfield Township will present Little Sounds of Deerfield this summer. These summer concerts will be held at the Pavilion at Kingswood Park. Children will enjoy a variety of musicians and then create their very own art project.
