BIG DOG’S PIZZA
Big Dogs Pizza will fill you and your family up with good food in a restaurant that treats you like family. The owner, Chris, moved to Mason from Michigan when he was 12 years old, and he loves what he does. Chris was able to give us some insight on what makes Big Dog’s Pizza in Mason your go-to restaurant for tasty and fresh meals.
Tell me a little bit about the atmosphere at Big Dog’s Pizza in Mason.
Big Dog’s is casual and welcoming to all. It’s family-friendly and a place to enjoy good food and drinks with your friends. One thing we pride ourselves on is customers always want to say goodbye before leaving, even first-time customers. People see us as friends and friendly. We provide an atmosphere that invites people to come back.
What is “Mason Style” pizza?
It’s the opportunity to combine great food with great atmosphere unique to Mason—the best pizza in Mason, for Mason.
The crust looks delicious! Tell me about your pizza.
We make our pizzas fresh. Our crust is thin, but not too thin and more flaky or crispy than doughy. You can create your own Big Dog’s Pizza or choose from one of our specialty pizzas like The Veggie, The Hawaiian, The Bacon Cheeseburger, The Mac Dog, and more.
Besides pizza, your menu offers a variety of options. What’s your most popular food item?
Our wings are an easy favorite. They are roasted, not fried. Not only are they big and meaty, but they are also crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. You’ll have an option between six different sauces on the side.
Residents may have tried your pizza from your food truck at local events. You can also bring food truck pizza to businesses as well. What types of items do you offer?
The food truck menu is abridged slightly from the main menu to adjust to the event. You may not see a few specialty pizzas, hoagies, or calzones due to the baking process, but we can offer full pizzas depending on the situation. Look for us at more Mason events this year.
I’ve heard you have creative birthday parties. What does that entail?
Yes, we host birthday parties for youth and teens. We offer a party where children get to make their own pizzas in the kitchen. They literally create their own individual pizzas. We can adjust the party to the family, whether that’s reserving the place after hours for teens or hosting a build-your-own birthday for 6 year olds.
We are part of the Come Together Mason e-gift card program, which offers a great way to try new things in Mason. We invite you to come in and check us out!
