St. Michael’s College School is a private, all-boys Roman Catholic day school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1852 and administered by the Basilian Fathers, it is the largest school of its kind in Canada. St. Michael’s has a rich tradition of instrumental music where students from grades 7-12 participate in a variety of ensembles: Gr. 8 Band, Gr. 7-8 Honour Band, Gr. 9 Introductory Band, Gr. 9 Advanced Band, Gr. 10 Band, Gr. 9-10 Honour Band, Sr. Concert Band, Jr. & Sr. Jazz Ensembles, Sr. Jazz Combo as well as a very successful Drumline program. Our bands travel each year to destinations such as New York, Boston, Chicago, Florida, California and Europe. In April of 2023, almost one hundred music students from grades 9-12 will be participating in a performance tour to Chicago, IL. The school produces a fully staged Broadway musical each spring in our new state-of-the-art Centre for the Performing Arts. This year, the school will be producing its own unique musical, Love and Revolution, which runs from April 17-22, 2023.
