2015 Recap
This year at CanExUs, the JB North neighbourhood workshop, we had a small but amazing group of participants. While we were worried at first, we quickly realized that this was actually an asset. Over the course of the five day long camp, participants were able to get to know each other and talk to everyone.
Canada was well represented, with seven participants and two staff hailing from our great Northern nation.
Throughout CanExUs, we had educational content actives as well as activities based around improving our chapters. Every day we focused on one of the four educational content areas.
An important question we talked about during CanExUs was, “Where do we go from here?� We spent a lot of time trying to figure out what we wanted CanExUs to be and how we wanted to progress. We also spent time trying to figure out who are we as a neighbourhood and what we need. While we are still working on answers, we are excited to see where CanExUs goes!
Thank you to all the fantastic participants, chaperones, staff, and kitchen staff for making this CanExUs so successful and memorable. As was heard on multiple occasions, “It was LIT.�
