Students use a variety of media and extend their understanding of art concepts. Draw, paint, mold and create. Learn a variety of skills and techniques such as watercolor, 3D-sculpture, paper mâché, colored pencils, pastels, and other materials. All materials supplied. The instructor requires participants to wear masks during class.

Watercolor Class

AGES: 5-10Y INSTRUC TOR: SUSAN MCALLISTER

Join this class to explore the creative possibilities of watercolor. Practice basic watercolor techniques such as wet on wet, wet on dry, and color mixing challenges as you learn to create realistic and abstract art. Subject matter is geared to the interests and skills of each participant. Beginner-advanced levels welcome. The instructor requires participants to wear masks during class.

Babysitting for Beginners

AGES: 10-16Y INSTRUC TOR: MORGAN DZIAD

Learn the skills needed to be a trusted and responsible babysitter. Learn all about childhood development, bedtime strategies, positive redirection, how to get a job, and ways to make babysitting fun for you and the kids. Basic first aid, general safety, and what to do in an emergency will also be covered. Students should bring a water bottle, snack, and dress to move and play!

Building Public Speaking Confidence

AGES: 7-12Y INSTRUC TOR: GURUS EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

This course teaches young students the essentials of building confidence in public speaking. Taught using the fun concepts of (don’t) show and tell, storytelling (scary and funny stories!), reciting poems, pretend games, this is an excellent class to start developing confidence in young students in a fun way. The participants learn how to stand tall and speak confidently in front of a group. They begin to understand the concepts and importance of maintaining eye contact, good posture, volume, and expressions.

Kids’ Carpentry, Beginner & Advanced

AGES: 5-11Y

INSTRUCTOR: CHRISTOPHER BEASLEY, KIDS CARPENTRY

Kids’ Carpentry, has taught thousands of children the safe use of hand tools. Children may choose from a wide variety of projects after first completing their sanding block and super top. While building their projects from scratch children are introduced to concepts like applied math, problem solving, fine motor skills and empowered with the opportunity to use a large variety of woodworking tools. Our motto: Building confidence and teaching with respect and humor in a safe and happy environment.

Cooking Class, Bakeshop 101

AGES: 7-12Y

NEW! Does your child aspire to be a Pastry Chef? Then look no further!! From delicious lemon crinkle cookies to individual classic Margherita pizzas, this sweet and savory baking class will be a tasty, good time! Children will learn many different mixing and baking methods that they will put to use creating delicious delights.

Cooking Class, Build a Haunted House

AGES: 7-12Y

INSTRUCTOR: DEBORAH PELLEGRINO

NEW! Let your child get scary creative as they decorate their own Haunted House. Class includes a premade house, all the icing, candy, garnishes, and decorating equipment needed to have a SPOOKTACULAR time.

At the end of class, the children will display their masterpieces for all the parents to admire.

NEW! There’s no need to leave home to get a taste of how the rest of the world celebrates the Holidays. From appetizers to desserts, we will create and enjoy recipes from around the globe such as Italian Christmas Cookies, French Palmiers and Mexican Picadillo. Bring your appetite!

Experiments for Kids!

AGES: 5-9Y INSTRUC TOR: NICOLE BEEDLE

NEW! In this science course, students will have the opportunity to learn through hands-on experiments. Learning can and should be fun, and this class has been developed based on that premise. Create fantastic fizzy solutions, grow beautiful crystals, “dissect” a stuffed animal, and more! All in a supportive environment that encourages questions, curiosity, and personal growth.
