Orinda Parks and Rec will continue our utilization of ePACT Network, a health and safety software to better support our members and make it easier to submit critical data securely! This digital solution allows you to quickly share the health and emergency information we need, and also provides us with powerful communication tools to ensure we have a way to message you in the event of an illness, injury, or larger scale emergency. Why are we using ePACT? 1. To save you time—With ePACT, you only need to complete your child’s information once and update it as needed. 2. Check-in/out will be more efficient with an electronic, contactless process! 3. For better security & privacy—ePACT’s high encryption levels and commitment to security means your data on ePACT is safer than on paper. Additional information, and the initial invitation to complete your account will be emailed 3-6 weeks prior to your child’s first week of camp. You will receive one email invite per child. To avoid duplication, one parent (one email address) should accept the invites and complete the detailed emergency record for ALL campers.

Every lesson is packed with hands-on web development projects and ample time for experimentation and free coding. Learners will not just absorb the principles of web structure, formatting, multimedia integration, and styling, but they will eventually grasp how to create interactive elements using JavaScript, a key tool in modern web development. By the end of the course, learners won’t just navigate the web—they’ll be capable of creating their own unique corner in it, armed with coding skills and an enhanced sense of creativity, logic, and problem-solving abilities. The future of the web begins here!

Pre-requisite Basic Obedience through Dog Dynamics, Inc. or Instructor’s approval. The American Kennel Club developed a test designed to encourage owners to train their dogs to be socially comfortable and well mannered. During this 6-week program your dog will practice how to meet and accept petting and grooming by a stranger, how to walk nicely by other dogs and distractions, to be confident when met by new sounds and sights, demonstrate basic sit, down and come, and how to remain calm when separated from you. On the sixth class the dogs will be tested. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The first class of the session is mandatory, and for handlers only. It will be held online, in a live virtual format. Complete and sign the Dog Dynamics form that will be attached to your transaction after registration and submit them to info@dogdynamics.org before the first day of class. Code

Taijiquan (Tai Chi/Qigong) AGES 18 & UP

INSTRUCTOR: PUSHING FOR PEACE

Qigong means Breath or Energy Work. Taoist Qigong emphasizes relaxation and organ detoxification. We practice this outside for the fresh air, cleansing ourselves as a synchronized group. Then we warm-up by lubricating the joints, stretch the tendons and strengthen the muscles, especially the legs. The warm-ups also define the extended range of motion required for Tai Chi form training. Tai Chi was developed over 500 years ago for balance, longevity and selfdefense acuity as one Ages. Expect to feel peaceful, relaxed and energized after this class. Code

INSTRUCTOR: DAVE SIMON

Come and learn to play traditional ukulele music of the 20’s and 30’s, including Hawaiian, Tin Pan Alley, blues, and period novelty songs. Learn chords and strumming by playing and singing along with other players in a supportive environment. The class offers something for students at all skill levels. A basic knowledge of ukulele chords is recommended. A Ukulele is required. Extra help is available for new students.

Friendly game with no slide tackling, no goalies and played with “lacrosse size” goals. Not played with sidelines as the field is very wide and everything over the end line is a goal kick. Average skill level is moderate. Please note, session is non-refundable with no-rain outs.
