ON MAY 17, City & State celebrated the 100 outstanding individuals who comprised the 2022 Queens Power 100 list. Held at The Bordone LIC in Long Island City from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the event featured keynote speeches from six prominent Queens politicians as well as a recognition for the other members of the list. This year’s list featured elected officials, lobbyists, business owners, activists, nonprofit executives and other community leaders who are playing an essential role in shaping the borough’s future and keeping one of the most diverse regions of the world thriving. The event was emceed by City & State City Hall Bureau Chief Jeff Coltin, who interviewed Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz for the Queens Power 100 issue cover story.
