FAQs: What provisions are made for residents with reduced mobility? We have ensured our carts are very easy to manoeuvre. However, if you are having difficulty moving the cart to your collection point, you may apply for City assistance. Get more info on this program by calling the Waste Hotline at 780.992.6218. Will the driver pick up my recycling, organics and garbage at the same time each collection day? There is no set time for collection in any given neighbourhood—residents must ensure their carts are out by 7 a.m. Pick up time in each neighbourhood may vary depending on the driver, road conditions, equipment malfunctions, and various other factors. I missed my collection day. What should I do? If your collection was missed, call the Waste Hotline at 780.992.6218 the day after your waste was missed. Please leave all missed items at curbside for collection, unless instructed otherwise. Times of pickup may vary from week to week. Where do I store my carts? Carts must be removed from the boulevard following collection and should be stored in a suitable location on your property.

A friendly reminder on how to properly set out your carts: 1. Carts should be on the street with wheels against the curb or driveway entrance. All carts and blue bags must be out by 7 a.m. on collection day. 2. L eave an arm’s length of clearance on all sides of your cart. 3. C arts must be removed from the curb and properly stored following your collection day.
