HATHA AT NOON The goal of practicing hatha yoga is to bring together opposites in your life and create balance. During hatha yoga, you use physical postures, or asanas, to align your body and allow energy to flow freely. You also learn breathing techniques, which also help regulate the flow of energy and enable you to master your mind and attain balance.

Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation, bringing your attention to your breath, helping to still the mind and be more present. Yin Yoga has come to be known as ‘the quiet yet profound yoga practice’. Bringing balance with the experience of centering inside, quieting the mind, letting the connective tissues gently release, and allowing greater flexibility then you have ever felt. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT The Community Social Planning Coordinator works with several not-for-profit and volunteer based community organizations that offer a variety of important social programs and services to Fort Saskatchewan residents. Community development is about working in partnership with volunteers, organizations, agencies and government to build community capacity. We come together to take action and to generate programs, services and policy solutions to address current and emerging community needs, gaps and trends. Community wellbeing and increased quality of life are important outcomes of community development and collective action. Contact: 780.992.6206.
