BE ACTIVE. BE HEALTHY. BE HAPPY! A MESSAGE FROM OUR PARKS & OPEN SPACE PROJECT COORDINATOR Winter is here, which means my favorite season is right around the corner. Spring has always been my favorite time of year because of all the endless outdoor activities. It’s the perfect time to start fresh, get outdoors, and enjoy all of the programs, activities, and events that are coming up in our community. Over the last two years, I have seen truly remarkable moments take place at our events in American Canyon. I am honored to work for this City and to serve the members of this community. From Coastal Clean-Up Day to Ridge Trail Day, this Fall was packed with lots of fun outdoor volunteer events. If you missed them, don't worry! There are plenty more opportunities to get involved on the horizon. The City’s new River to Ridge Trail Conservation Program includes two wonderful projects. The first is the Newell Planting and Weeding Project. The second is the Pollinator Planting Project co-hosted with the American Canyon Community & Parks Foundation that will be held during our AmCan By The Bay event. For more information on these events and many others, visit page 3. Spring into action this New Year! You don't want to miss out on all the fun and excitement that we’re planning on bringing to you!
