Night to Unite Civic Ready Test Tuesday, August 2 On the first Tuesday of August each year, Blaine joins communities around Minnesota for Night to Unite, an evening of neighborhood festivities aimed at crime prevention and building a strong community. Members of the Blaine Police Department and SBM Fire Department make an effort to visit as many registered block parties as possible during the event. Find a party near you or start your own event.

Local Students Create Artwork for Blaine Police Department Students from Blaine High School and Spring Lake Park High School recently completed artwork that will be on display in the recently renovated Blaine Police Department offices. The police department approached the students with the idea and the outcome was fantastic. The students spent many hours outside of the school day working on these wonderful pieces of art. Members of the police department were able to meet with each student group and have a pizza party to celebrate their partnership. We want to thank all the students who worked so hard on this project.
