Next Steps

The Place Plan is a framework for future activities by Council and partner stakeholders in the Peninsula. It is not just a wish list of initiatives and actions.

The actions for the Next 5 Years are important as they reflect a commitment to the process and the place and can be used to demonstrate commitment that people who took part in the consultation have been listened to. The strategic directions are also important. Given the rapidly changing physical and community landscape in the Rhodes Peninsula some flexibility is required as to how these are implemented. Importantly, the Rhodes Peninsula Place Plan requires a partnership approach to deliver. Council will be working with stakeholders to progress planning and delivery of key actions for Rhodes Peninsula.
