Our primary means of communication with you is by phone or email. In the event that there are class changes, cancellations or you forget your Login/barcode and Pin while registering for a class, keeping your email address and phone number current will ensure that you receive information in a timely manner.

Refunds or Transfer Policy
Access cedarhilltx.com/online to register for classes, purchase a membership or check facility rental availability. You must have a Login ID/Barcode and Pin number to utilize the registration portion of the site. Please contact the Parks and Recreation Department or Recreation Center to get this information by emailing cchrec@cedarhilltx.com or go to the My Account tab on the online registration website to create a new account. Payment by credit card (American Express, Master Card or Visa) is required.
Participants will be offered the option to transfer to another class or receive a full refund if a course cancels due to low enrollment or other circumstances. Participant initiated refunds and transfers will be considered when a participant:
Register at least three days before class starts. Students will be notified if classes not meeting minimum enrollment are cancelled.

The Recreation Center features 5,400 square feet of versatile space and is ideal for wedding ceremonies/receptions, bridal showers, birthday parties, baby showers, church gatherings, and other special events. Renters have the option of using the entire meeting space as one room or splitting the area into separate rooms (up to four individual rooms). The Cedar Hill Recreation Center features a 3,500 square foot state-of-the-art fitness area containing a three lane walking/jogging track (13 laps = 1 mile).
ORIENTATION Members are encouraged to attend a FREE fitness orientation to learn the basic skills and mechanics of working out with our fitness equipment to ensure safety and proper use. Call 972.293.5288 or stop by the fitness desk to set-up an appointment with the fitness staff.

Ages 10 and over The American Heart Association (AHA) course is designed to prepare a wide variety of people who, as first responders, may need to perform CPR, use an automated external defibrillator (AED) or help someone who is choking. This is a Healthcare Provider CPR approved course, however you do not have to be in the healthcare profession to take this course. The Valley Ridge Amphitheater and Pioneer Park are designed to accommodate a variety of performing arts, cultural and community programming. A special event permit is required.

Ballroom Dancing Learn basic step patterns in various Ballroom, Latin and Swing dances. No experience or partner required! Weekly: Tuesday 2:00-3:00 pm “42” Domino Group Play dominoes with others that like to play “42”. Monthly: First and Third Tuesday 10:30 am-2:30 pm Exercise for Active Seniors Active, aerobic movement incorporated with the use of weights and bands. Weekly: Tuesday & Thursday 11:45 am-12:45 pm Line Dancing Learn fun dances choreographed to contemporary and country music. Weekly: Tuesday 1:00-2:00 pm

Monday-Friday: 8:00 am-4:00 pm Saturday-Sunday: Closed Senior Center membership is free and everyone, ages 50 and over, is welcome. A membership registration form is required and must be completed before participation. Transportation is available to and from the Senior Center for Cedar Hill residents only. There is no fee for the service, but transportation is ONLY for those that do not drive or have no other means of transportation. Call 469.853.5374 to schedule a ride.
