FLEETWOOD-JOURDAIN

This program serves your after school needs, school closings, winter break and spring break for elementary and middle school students. Students are grouped by grade level and will receive structured recreational activities, supervised computer access, nutritious snacks, arts & crafts and more. Bus services will be available to Distrcit 65 Schools.Face mask(s) will be required to participate in this program. Social- distancing, washing of hands regularly, daily temperature checks and other CDC guidelines will be followed to ensure the safety of all our participants. Location: Fleetwood-Jourdain Community Center Age: 5-11 yrs. Fees, monthly: Varies, based on the number of service days.

HANGOUT AFTER SCHOOL

Looking for a fun place to hang out with friends after school? Come hang out at Fleetwood-Jourdain from 3-6pm Monday through Friday. Participants have the opportunity to meet new friends, do homework, play games, and enjoy indoor/ outdoor sports and recreation. Snacks and a hot supper is served daily. Bus services will be available to Distrcit 65 Schools.Face mask(s) will be required to participate in this program. ROBERT CROWN AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURE

* Follows District 65 school calendar (9 month Program) Robert Crown Community Center’s after-school program is licensed by the Illinois Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). Our daily schedule includes time to relax and play in both structured and self-directed activities, coordinated study time and nutritious snacks. Activities designated to build athletic and social skills take place in our gym, multi-purpose room and outdoors. The most important part of the day is “Homework Help,” providing individualized enrichment and assistance. The program includes special activities, field trips and theme days on District 65 early dismissal days. Bus services are included for children that attend District 65 schools to the center. (No bus service on holidays and school breaks). * Full day care is provided on days District 65 holds non-attendance days/institute days outside of COE

Holidays. Note: prior to enrollment, parents are responsible for all forms in the registration packet, a copy of the child’s birth certificate and the last 6 months immunization records returned to the center. Robothink After School Club

Children will engage in creative activities each week. Each program is meant to teach engineering concepts, robotics, and entrepreneurship skills. RoboThink uses curricula designed to meet every skill level, so no prior experience is necessary. Age: 7-12 yrs. Location: Chandler-Newberger Community Center

ENGINEER AIRPLANES

Let’s take to the skies! In this program, students will be building a variety of planes, helicopters and jets. As an aerial entrepreneur, it’s up to you to make sure your business takes off!. Fee: $96 R/$121 NR

BATTLE ROBOTS

Do you think you can build the strongest and most agile robot? Can your robot win a head to head combat mission? Learn engineering strategies for building study structures using our unique bricks, then apply that knowledge to build multiple robots for friendly competitions. You’ll have a blast as you play robot soccer, compete in robot relay races and other challenges. Fee: $120 R/$150 NR
