WHAT ARE YOUR FINAL WISHES?
Join Deb Kobak of the Neptune Society on Friday as she speaks of the process of what happens when a death occurs. Deb will discuss the benefits of preplanning to lock in expenses, eliminate unexpected costs and assist loved ones on the worst day of their lives so they know what to do and who to call. The importance of communication and organizing and collecting important information that your family needs to complete the legal tasks required when a death occurs will be covered. RULES OF THE ROAD
This free class, offered by the Secretary of State’s office, includes safe driving techniques and a review of Illinois driving laws in preparation for the written driver’s test. Registration: Registration is required.

PART D – OPEN ENROLLMENT ASSISTANCE
In partnership with the North Shore Senior Center, the Levy Senior Center will be offering step-by-step social distance assistance for Part D enrollment and review. Registration and appointment information will be available on October 1. More information will be forthcoming.

SUPER SENIOR DAY/ MOBILE DRIVER SERVICES
Super Senior Day is a convenient and voluntary program for driver’s license renewal, which includes rules of the road classroom instruction and a vision screening exam. The rules of the road review course also includes a review of safe driving techniques and Illinois driving laws. The Secretary of State mobile driver services unit will be available for participants to renew their driver’s licenses. An identification card can be obtained for $20. However, if you are age 65 or older you may obtain a free, non-expiring State of Illinois photo ID card. Drivers age 75 years and older are required to take a driving test to renew their driver’s licenses. Therefore, they must visit a Secretary of State Driver Services facility. No Real ID’s will be issued at this event. Registration: Pre-register is required for the rules of the road class at 847-448-8250; space is limited. Admission: Free, registration required. The mobile driver services unit is open to all ages.

The Levy Senior Center Foundation along with Evelyn Binz and Bette Coulson is proud to bring the talents of young, award-winning classical musicians to the Levy Senior Center. The outstanding lineup continues to honor the memory of Fran Randall who loved classical music and played an important role in opening the current center.
