The s triving members were: Seniors: Joyce Rapp, Jim Parker, Bob Wichman, Jody BabL; Juniors: Bill Carpenter, Paula Cheney, Shirl ey Baker, Jess Munyon; Sophomores: Julia Cheney, Bob Morgan, Tex H ens ley; and Frosh: Bob Dunn, Nancy White, Nona Brown. ANNUAL STAFF
Throughout the pages of this yearbook the Annual Staff with the untiring efforts of Mr Christensen, Jim Hammill, editor, and Pat Yingst, business manager, has strived to make this year a memorable one.
PIN
A coveted honor for any GHS student is to receive a "G"-Pin. \VhPn he is a freshman he may begin keeping a r ecord of his scho lastic and extracurricular activities for which points are given. Points are also given to a student for outstanding service to the school in ot her ways. The most important qualification is active participation 1n the student association.
\Ve feel that tl1is annual need s no explanation, and we hope that it speaks for itself.

THE PROM
THE CAROUSEL
One of the highlights of the spring of '52 \Vas the Jun ior-Se ni or Prom, given by th e class of 19 53, present Seniors.
As coup les entered the Central Schoo l gym, they were caught up in th e mood of gaiety and romance. The beautifu l gray and blue roof, resembling a "Big T op," the minute menagerie behind the red and white picket fence, the "lvierry-go-Roun d" in the ce nt e r of the floor, and the exquisite Caliope on the stage took care of the mood of gaiety. Romance was inspired by the music of Vern BJ·ers and his or chestra.
The K ing and Queen were Ronnie Rice and Jean Parker.
Put this tog·ether with delicious punch at intermissio n, paste l shades of pink, white, blue, and gree n, twir ling skirts and handsome young men in dinner jackets, and ther e yo u have it - a comp lete picture of the "Carouse l" - the prom of '52.
