Winter Golf Rates (Ages 22+)
Rates include green and cart fees and a $3 voucher for food in our grill rooms. Blair Park Golf Course - $18 Monday through Friday and $22 on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. To make your tee time, please call 336.883.3497. Oak Hollow Golf Course - $26 for non-seniors and $20 for seniors Monday through Friday. Rates are $30 on Saturday, Sunday and holidays. To make your tee time, please call 336.883.3260. Rates are good through February 28.
Quarterly Big Fish Tournament
Try and catch the biggest fish in the lake! We'll keep a display board keeping track of the weights in the marina; prizes are awarded each quarter for the biggest catfish, crappie and bass. Grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the year! Registration is required before catching the fish. Participants can register once for the whole year at any time. Family Open Gym
Shoot hoops, practice those basketball skills and enjoy family time in a casual atmosphere as you get in a workout together. Each family will be issued their own ball and goal for safety; you may also bring your own ball.

Tales in the Tipi
Ancient American Indian stories come to life around a campfire inside a 20' tipi on the grounds of Piedmont Environmental Center. You will hear about Coyote the Trickster, Grandfather Rock, Raven and Blue Jay and Thunder's Lodge. Birdhouse Workshop
Get ready for spring by building your own birdhouse nesting box. Participants will learn about the natural history of 10 species of cavity-nesting birds and how three species can be attracted to their yard or garden area by providing birdhouses for nesting. Families will assemble two precut birdhouses of their choice. Participants must bring a hammer and a Phillip's head screwdriver or battery-powered screwdriver/drill. Easter Eggstravaganza
The tradition returns! High Point Parks & Recreation's annual Easter Egg Hunt is designed for youth ages two - 13 and our ASPIRE friends, but the fun and festivities are open to all youth. Egg hunts begin at 5 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. Prizes given for lucky golden eggs found in each hunt. Please be sure to bring a basket or bag for each child participating. Sidewalk Chalk & Craft Show
Spend the day watching artists chalk the pavement, participating in kids’ outdoor field activities, shopping items offered by local vendors and enjoying food offered for purchase by local food trucks. You will have a chance to create a chalk art masterpiece of your own, too! Chalk will be provided; you are welcome to bring other supplies with you, such as brushes, kneeling pad, towel, eraser, sponge or additional chalk. Bill Styles Memorial Accessible Fishing Tournament
