High Point on the Rise Grant
Congratulations to the City of High Point on the award of a $19.8 million USDOT “RAISE” grant titled “High Point on the Rise.” Working in partnership with the Southwest Renewal Foundation, this grant will construct approximately 3.5 miles of shared use greenway in three phases, improving walkability and connectivity in High Point’s lower-income neighborhoods and providing easier access to public transportation and other community resources. High Point Parks & Recreation is pleased to be part of this impactful project for the citizens of our city!
