Urban Redevelopment Agency (URA) Moves Forward Plans were finalized by the City Council during July 2015 for the Jonesboro Urban Redevelopment Agency (URA), a mechanism provided for by GA State Law as a redevelopment tool for cities. The first designated area for the URA is Lee Street Park. Officers for the Jonesboro URA are: Joy B. Day, Chairman; Jule Segner (citizen), Vice-Chair; Ricky Clark, Secretary; Councilmembers Pat Sebo and Ed Wise, and citizen member Helen Meadows.
