Tennis 1-2-3 Clinic
Fencing - Introductory
$72
Learn fencing, the ancient art of nobility and one of the four original modern Olympic events. Fencing is often referred to as physical chess. It combines the mental challenge of out-thinking your opponent with the agility of martial arts. Students will learn basic footwork, attacks, defence, and strategy. Students must bring non-marking athletic shoes and comfortable clothes. Minimum age requirement is 12 years old.
» Jan 10-Mar 14 Mon Instructor: Pickleball
6:00-7:30 PM 154983 Heidi Ferber $30
Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports in North America, is a cross between badminton and table tennis and is played on a badminton court. It is fun from the very first try. It has nothing to do with pickles, but uses a wooden, lightweight composite paddle and a ball similar to a whiffle ball. This is an instructional program designed to teach basic skills and rules of playing pickleball. Emphasis is on proper movement techniques and play. Try this dilly of a game! Balls and paddles provided. Youth Centre » Sep 20-Dec 13 Mon
