THERAPEUTIC RECREATION PROGRAM

PARTICIPATION GUIDELINES:

As with any recreation program, an appropriate level of independence, self-care and behavior is required from our participants Unfortunately, we are not able to provide 1:1 supervision during any of our programs Our program staff do not provide hands-on personal care to participants unless otherwise noted . If a participant requires additional assistance, a provider or parent may join the program at no cost except for certain program expenses (tickets, etc ) For more information, please email RISE@Lakewood org Thank you!

ADAPTIVE BOCCE TR

Join us for Adaptive Bocce! This is the sport for individuals of all abilities We will learn the rules, how to set up the court, learn how to keep score, and play lots of bocce

Ages: 16+

$40 Resident, $48 Nonresident

RISE/TR ADULT ADVENTURES

Enjoy the beautiful Bear Creek Lake Park with friends! Each month, we will meet at Bear Creek Lake Park to enjoy an activity the park offers and a picnic lunch . From hiking to boating, adults will enjoy an adventurous day! Participants need to bring their own lunch.

Rock Climbing

GYM TO CRAG ADULT CLIMBING

Come explore the exciting sport of rock climbing! This class will include both indoor and outdoor instruction Participants will learn the basics of knots, belay skills, climbing movement, and the differences and nuances involved in indoor and outdoor rock climbing Saturday and Sunday will be outdoor climbing days, weather permitting All gear is provided.
