CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS Renovations are underway at the Dobson Ranch Library. Construction will expand the library's footprint by 1600 square feet, and will add a THINKspot makerspace for community innovation and networking.

This is the biggest renovation the Dobson Ranch Library has undergone since it was built in 1987. Funding for the renovation is from the Parks and Culture Bond approved by Mesa voters in 2018.

Library events, hours, and construction related closure information can be found on our website, mesalibrary.org.

Earth Day Every Day

Additionally, the façade of the building will be updated. The improved entry will offer greater visibility and convenience for library users.

Since 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated on April 22 as a way to mark the importance of taking care of our environment. We’re working to make sure our everyday practices are good for the planet we all share.
