CONSTRUCTION AT THE DOBSON RANCH LIBRARY Renovations are underway at the Dobson Ranch Library.

Construction will expand the library's footprint by 1600 square feet, and will add a THINKspot makerspace for community innovation and networking.

Additionally, the façade of the building will be updated. The improved entry will offer greater visibility and convenience for library users.

During his search, Marlin enlists the help of a forgetful blue tang, and they head for Sydney. It’s rumored that a fishnapped Nemo is living there in a dentist’s aquarium. Rated G. Enjoy a movie in a climate of acceptance and understanding. The sound will be turned down and the room will not be completely dark.

Movie-goers do not need to be quiet or sit still, they are welcome to get up and walk, dance, and sing. Popcorn will be provided but feel free to bring snacks for your family that meets their dietary needs.

JAPANESE TAIKO DRUMMING Fri | July 8 | 2:00pm – 3:00pm | RM Taiko is the Japanese word for “great drum”.

Historically used as a means of communication or on the battlefield, today its purpose is more spiritual and celebratory. Fushicho Daiko is Arizona’s premier and longest running professional performing taiko group. Through their performances, workshops, residencies, and regularly scheduled classes, taiko is alive and well in the Southwest.

Wynne, Ph.D., is the founder of the Canine Science Collaboratory at Arizona State University. As a pioneering canine behaviorist, he has studied the relationship between dogs and wolves, and the dog-human relationship. Scientists have been reluctant to call that association a love bond. Dr. Wynne’s studies have shown that dogs’ ability to love is literally in their DNA. Every dog owner has felt that love and (hopefully) returned it in equal measure. This book explains the research behind the emotion. Books will be available for sale and signing after the presentation.

Wynne, Ph.D., is the founder of the Canine Science Collaboratory at Arizona State University. As a pioneering canine behaviorist, he has studied the relationship between dogs and wolves, and the dog-human relationship. Scientists have been reluctant to call that association a love bond. Dr. Wynne’s studies have shown that dogs’ ability to love is literally in their DNA. Every dog owner has felt that love and (hopefully) returned it in equal measure. Wynne, Ph.D., is the founder of the Canine Science Collaboratory at Arizona State University. As a pioneering canine behaviorist, he has studied the relationship between dogs and wolves, and the dog-human relationship. Scientists have been reluctant to call that association a love bond. Dr. Wynne’s studies have shown that dogs’ ability to love is literally in their DNA. Every dog owner has felt that love and (hopefully) returned it in equal measure. This book explains the research behind the emotion. Books will be available for sale and signing after the presentation.

Construction will expand the library's footprint by 1600 square feet, and will add a THINKspot makerspace for community innovation and networking.

Additionally, the façade of the building will be updated. The improved entry will offer greater visibility and convenience for library users.
