New Recreation Scholarship Program Available for Residents!
We’re thrilled to introduce a new scholarship program made possible by the generous support of the O’Fallon Community Foundation! The O’Fallon Community Foundation is a local not-for-profit working to maximize the quality of life in O’Fallon. Their group supports not only the Parks & Recreation Departments, but also the Project H.O.M.E. initiative.
Beginning this fall, financial assistance is available to help families who wish to enroll their children in the O’Fallon Swim Academy. O’Fallon Parks & Recreation believes that learning proper swimming techniques and water safety is a vital skill that all members of our community should have access to learn.
Scholarship recipients will receive full coverage for one session of swim lesson fees. To apply, please visit our website or turn to page 9 to learn more.
The City of O’Fallon’s Parks and Recreation Departments invite you and your family to participate in the great programs featured inside this catalog, including leisure and sports activities for all ages and abilities.

Find the right group lessons for your child
To ensure success in the O’Fallon Swim Academy, it’s important to register children for the appropriate level. Children who have participated in the swimming program should register according to the last class successfully completed, moving to the next class or skill level when all skills from the previous level are mastered. Some classes may seem repetitive, but we want swimmers to perfect their skills in order to advance safely, not quickly. Children learn at different paces and it is common to repeat a class.

Scrooge: A Christmas Carol
Weekends, December 13 - 15 & 20 - 22
7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 2 p.m. matinee on Sundays O’Fallon Municipal Centre (City Hall), East Entrance
On a cold Christmas Eve, Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly and bitter old man, hunches over his work, despising the holiday spirit. That night, however, his life takes a dramatic turn. The ghost of his deceased business partner, Jacob Marley, appears, bound by heavy chains forged from a lifetime of greed. Marley warns Scrooge of a similar fate unless he changes his ways.
Written by Charles Dickens and adapted by Larry D. Quiggins, Scrooge: A Christmas Carol is a timeless tale of redemption, reminding us of the importance of compassion, love, and the transformative power of the holiday spirit.
