The changing leaves around us are a reminder to keep your fitness routine colorful, and the Renaud Center is here to help you elevate your workout this season! Following our shutdown week from September 6–12 for facility-wide cleaning and renovation, we’re reopening with a refreshed look and a new lineup of weightshredding fitness classes and family-focused programs and events. Hit the fitness center and discover your newest favorite machine, or dive into the Natatorium’s 10,000-square-foot pool for a full-body aqua aerobics workout. All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment. To keep classes from being cancelled due to low registration, please register at least six days in advance of the start date. Resident Privilege Account All O’Fallon residents are eligible for resident rates on park facility rentals, programs and admissions with a Resident Privilege Account. Apply for your free Resident Privilege Account at the Renaud Center. Residents ages 16 and under must be accompanied by a resident parent or resident guardian to obtain a Resident Privilege Account. The account expires one year from the date issued.
Definition of a “resident” “Residents” are people who live within the City of O’Fallon’s corporate limits. City limits and Post Office boundaries are not the same, so it is possible to have an O’Fallon address, yet live outside the City, or have a postal address in an adjacent municipality, yet live in O’Fallon.

• A full refund will be given for classes cancelled by the City.
• All family members must be declared when a family account is established. Inappropriate use of membership ID and/or privileges may result in termination or suspension of the membership.
• No refunds or credits will be given for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start of the class.
*Additional individual family members (ages 3+) may be added to a Renaud Center membership at the cost of $25 for residents, $50 for non-residents.

Campsites at O’Day Park Overnight camping is now available for Scout groups and non-profit organizations in O’Day Park. Two large camp sites are nestled amongst the wooded area, accommodating up to 25 campers each. More space is available for an additional fee. The O'Fallon Police Department will patrol the park. Renaud Center • Rental Rates Rent a unique recreation complex with amenities for all ages and abilities! Perfect for your special event, meeting, wedding shower, basketball or volleyball practice, pool party, lock-in and more. Reservations are available outside of regular Renaud Center business hours. Rental requests are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and must be made in person at the Renaud Center at least two weeks before the rental date. All fees and damage deposits are collected when reservations are made. Costs are provided for residents/ non-residents. The facility is located in Sports Park at 2650 Tri Sports Circle, O'Fallon, MO 63368.

Aquatics Aqua Aerobics Aqua Fit Beginner Swimming skills are not required for this four-week beginner class, which offers a great way to get started in our water exercise program. Aqua aerobics is a low-impact exercise that strengthens muscles and joints and provides a great cardiovascular workout in the pool.
Aqua Power Intermediate Are you looking for an exercise that’s easy on your joints? Join our four-week aqua aerobics class for an exhilarating workout with low, medium and high-intensity exercises. No swimming is required. Our workout focuses on cardiovascular fitness and muscle conditioning with water dumbbells, noodles and other pool fitness equipment.
Hydro Boxing Are you looking for a high intensity cardio class with a kickboxing influence? Join our Hydro Boxing class and learn the basics of kickboxing while burning calories. Expect to get your sweat on and build your strength with a non-stop fight against the natural resistance of water.
SilverSneakers Splash SilverSneakers Splash is a shallow-water exercise for all skill levels designed to increase strength and cardiovascular endurance. Swimming skills are not required, and this class is also well-suited for those with chronic health conditions. This four-week class will meet for an hour once a week.
Therapeutic Aqua Aerobics If you have arthritis or a bone/joint condition, treat your bones to warm water and relieve aches and pains. No swimming skills are required in this four-week class! Aquatic workouts relieve bones of weight-bearing stress as they strengthen muscles and joints. Specialized instruction will help you improve movement and flexibility.
Water Walking Swimming is not required! Walk in the lazy river (you’ll find it’s not really so lazy) to improve cardiovascular health, balance and flexibility. We offer 3 different types of walking classes: Walking with Jets, Running with Jets and Walking without Jets. Walking with Jets and Walking without Jets are offered twice a week and Running with Jets is offered once a week.

Swim Stroke Analysis Ages 6–12 Get the most out of your performance on the swim team with these two-week swim-stroke clinics that will help you analyze and practice the mechanics of a particular stroke during each session. Learn to Swim with O’Fallon Swim Academy O’Fallon Swim Academy is built on teaching aquatic and safety skills in a logical progression. Our goal is to teach children and adults how to swim and be safe in and around the water. The program is composed of 12 course levels and each child must pass a particular level before proceeding to the next. • Aqua Learning: Parent and child participation is required. Class size is limited to eight parent-child couples. • Preschool – Level 3: Class ratio is six children to one instructor. • Levels 4 – 6: Class ratio is eight children to one instructor. • Adult: Class ratio is eight adults to one instructor.
Prerequisite: Swimmers must be able to swim at least 25 yards using the stroke they register for.
Gateway Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) Ages 6 months – 6 years Infant Swimming Resource is the safest and most effective provider of survival swimming lessons worldwide, teaching children ages 6 months – 6 years old to use ISR self-rescue skills and giving them the competence and confidence they need to survive in the water.
Weekday sessions at the Renaud Center meet twice a week for four weeks and last 35 minutes. Saturday morning sessions last 40 minutes and meet for seven weeks. Classes are $57/$63. Aqua Learning: Shrimp • Ages 6–18 months Parent or guardian participation in the water with the child is required. The instructor will demonstrate techniques as parents learn how to safely acclimate the child into the water.
Aqua Learning: Starfish • Ages 18–36 months Toddlers will enjoy learning basics of water safety and participating in a swim class. Parent or guardian participation in the water with the child is required. Parents will learn how to safely guide their child and help them advance at their own pace. The class is for children who are not yet ready to be away from mom or dad but do enjoy the water. Min/Max: 3/8
Aqua Learning: Pufferfish • Ages 2–3 This transitional class is for children who have passed Starfish but are not yet ready to be away from mom or dad or are still adjusting to a group environment in the water. The Pufferfish class is designed to help swimmers gain confidence and independence as they master introductory skills and learn safe practices. Parents or guardians will participate in the water during the first four classes. Preschool: Turtle • Ages 3–4 This independent class is designed for children who have never had swimming lessons or are just starting to learn the fundamentals of swimming. Activities may seem repetitive, but students will gain confidence as they master basic introductory swimming and water safety skills. Find the right group lessons for your child To ensure success in the O’Fallon Swim Academy, it’s important to register children for the appropriate level. Children who have participated in the swimming program should register according to the last class successfully completed, moving to the next class or skill level when all skills from the previous level are mastered. Some classes may seem repetitive, but we want swimmers to perfect their skills in order to advance safely, not quickly. Children learn at different paces and it is common to repeat a class.
Advanced Lessons Ages 6–12 years

Level Four: Marlin • Ages 6+
Level One: Jellyfish • Ages 4+ Builds on basic swimming skills, reinforces independent swimming and introduces the freestyle and backstroke. Our private and semi-private swim lessons come in sets of three 30-minute lessons. Our private lessons consist of one swimmer and the instructor. These lessons are based off of your child’s swimming abilities and skill level. $64/$69 per set. Our semi-private lessons consist of two swimmers and the instructor. The swimmers can be either friends or family, but they must be at approximately the same skill level. Both participants must attend the lessons for the lesson to be completed. $46/$51 per set, per swimmer.

Youth Sports Performance Training Designed to help participants improve in the five biomotor abilities with each workout: strength, speed, endurance, agility and flexibility. This training can also help develop proper habits that may reduce the risk of injuries. Strength training will focus on progressively developing upper and lower body strength, core strength and stability through various periodization models. Speed training will focus on mastering efficient movement mechanics to optimize acceleration and maximum speed movement pertaining specifically to a given sport. Endurance training will progress from general to specific intervals, shuttle and sprint training. Flexibility is emphasized with each session and each athlete will be stretched at the conclusion.

Youth Weight Room Orientation • Ages 12–15 Those who are ages 12–15 are required to enroll in and pass the Youth Weight Room Orientation class before being permitted to use the Fitness Center, including the Weight Room. Meet a Renaud Center Instructor Brandon Collins Recreation Specialist — Health & Fitness • Certified Personal Trainer, National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA); • EXOS Performance Specialist; • Certificate in Exercise Nutrition, Precision Nutrition; • Corrective Exercise Specialist, National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Brandon joins the Renaud Center as a full-time Recreation Specialist after six years of service to the City. He got his start as a lifeguard, then moved to fitness and began teaching classes and doing personal training. This sparked his love for health & fitness, and he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Maryville University. Brandon loves training clients of all ages and abilities and is excited to continue his career at the Renaud Center.

Girls’ Volleyball Individual League • Ages 9–12 Want to play volleyball but don’t have a team? This eight-game league is for you! Players will be randomly assigned and all ages will play together. The teams in this league will be led by parent coaches. Teams will receive three one-hour practices at no charge. Team shirts will be provided; players must wear nonmarking gym shoes. Youth Soccer Intro to Indoor Soccer • Ages 4–7

Junior Tennis Classes Each session consists of five 60-minute classes with a Vetta West Tennis Teaching Pro. Our programming is designed in coordination with the U.S. Tennis Association Youth Player Progression, which promotes play with red, orange, green and yellow compression balls. This allows players to remain at the appropriate level and develop both physically and technically.
This 4-week program will introduce your athlete to the game with indoor soccer played with a smaller, less-bouncy ball. Soccer players will play games and learn rules, positions and skills. Ages may be combined based on registration.

CORE Soccer Training Programs Our CORE programs promote and develop different skills to enhance the technical abilities of our young players! Big Shots Basketball • Ages 5–7 Does you child want to shoot like Steph or pass like LeBron? If so, sign him or her up for our Big Shots Basketball program. Just for Kids O
ur Just for Kids programs offer a great way for parents and grandparents to spend quality time with young children or take a little time for themselves while their children participate in a class. Children also benefit by socializing with others in enjoyable classes that can include singing, dancing, creating art and learning new skills. Look for new classes and family favorites every quarter! Young children attending without a parent must be completely potty-trained and able to use the restroom independently. Renaud Center Preschool • Ages 3–5 Join us for fun and learning at the Renaud Center Preschool! Our qualified instructors will help your child develop skills in language arts, math, science and more. Civic Dance Studio This great 9-month dance program encourages students to practice and improve throughout the school year and culminates with a year-end dance recital. New students can be accepted into the program at any time. Classes are held at the Krekel Civic Center, 305 Civic Park Drive, O’Fallon 63366. Civic Dance Studio classes emphasize correct technique, placement, elegance and discipline. Class typically includes a warmup, progressive steps across the floor and dance combos. Ballet classes include ballet and en pointe at the barre. Tuition does not include the required dance class attire (dance shoes, leotards or tights) or recital costumes. Civic Dance Studio also has a Competition Team. Private lessons are also available. Martial Arts Tae Kwon Do • Ages 3–5, Ages 6–9, Ages 10–16 and Family (Ages 5 – Adult) This six-week Martial Arts program will focus on the traditional Korean form of Tae Kwon Do known as Chung Do Kwan. This style is based on explosive movements, devastating power and self-discipline. All students begin training at the “no belt” level. Students will progress through a series of techniques and belts at their own pace and will not necessarily test each session. He enjoys creating something out of seemingly nothing and uses his art to express and explore emotions. His art has won awards from the Megan Meier Foundation, and now you can see his expressive paintings on display at the Renaud Center through December!
Rich Brooks Medium: Painting Coming Fall 2021 to O’Fallon City Hall Rich Brooks can look back at a life filled with artistic endeavors, beginning at the age of 4 when he determined he was going to be an artist. Today, he continues to produce world-class art on a full-time basis, along with teaching art to students of all abilities. He helped create the Foundry Arts Center in St. Charles and the Mosaics Fine Art Festival. Now, we’re proud to bring a selection of his art to City Hall, showcasing his mastery of a wide number of styles and disciplines.
