Alligator’s Creek

Our City’s outdoor swimming complex in Civic Park remains one of the finest outdoor aquatic centers in the area with exciting facilities for all ages, including a one-meter spring diving board, vortex, lap lanes, three water slides, water playground, floating bridge, bath house, concession stand, a long lazy river and a spray pad. Children must be at least 48 inches tall to go on the water slides.

Rent Alligator’s Creek

Looking to host a special event? Alligator’s Creek is available for private rentals on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings throughout the summer. Rentals are available at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 6:30 p.m. on Sundays. Please contact Alex Grieshaber at 636-474-8113 or agrieshaber@ofallon.mo.us for availability.

2020 Season Passes

Passes are now available at the Renaud Center and Parks and Recreation Administration Office. Summer memberships save money and encourage the whole family to stay active throughout the season. Perks include free admission for up to five guests on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day, plus Tuesday lunch specials.

Alligator’s Creek Birthday Parties

Select a party that’s just right for you and your summer budget! Adults and children are included in the package.

The cost includes a party area, party server, admissions and paper products. Parties can be scheduled for any day of the week, but they must be scheduled two weeks in advance and paid in full. The City of O’Fallon is hiring positive, responsible, energetic part-time people. All positions are part-time and/or seasonal positions, and are not eligible for benefits. Applicants must be at least 16 and be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. Applicants must also have a valid Missouri driver’s license and pass drug, alcohol and background screening. Special certification and experience may be required. Lifeguards and Swimming Instructors

Duties include watching over swimmers, cleaning the pool area and meeting safety regulations. Training is available. Alligator’s Creek staff works Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day; positions at the Renaud Center are year-round.

Mermaid Class • Girls, Ages 6–12

This class will be “fintastic” for the mermaid at your house. Students will learn how to swim with a mermaid tail, starting with drills and skills practice without our tails. When we’re ready, we’ll repeat the drills and skills with tails on, and play group mermaid games, too. Swim goggles are optional, but highly encouraged. Adult Lap Swimming Punch Pass • Ages 18+ $35.00 for 12 visits

Poppin’ Summer Day • Sunday, June 7 Come beat the summer heat by swimming for soda pop in the pool! Drops at 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Stay all day for games and prizes!

Honor Roll Day • Sunday, June 14 Kids in kindergarten through high school, bring in your report card with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher to swim for free.

Father’s Day • Sunday, June 21 Dads get in free with child’s paid admission.

Concession Jobs

Food Service Workers and Food Service Supervisors are needed March to November. Workers rotate between Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center, Ozzie Smith Sports Complex, Westhoff Park, Dames Park and Sports Park.

Camp Counselors • May through August

Counselors work on average less than 30 hours per week and receive training, including CPR/First Aid. Duties include supervision of children ages 5–12.

Pool Cashiers • May through September

Cash handling experience preferred. Cashiers work at Alligator’s Creek and handle cash and registrations.

Part-time Park Maintenance • Ages 18+

Seasonal Park Maintenance workers are needed May – August and April – September. Training is available. Duties include mowing, string trimming, cleaning restrooms, pavilions and playgrounds and assisting with festivals and special events.

Part-time Landscape • Ages 18+

Seasonal Landscape workers are needed March – December. Duties include mowing, string trimming, mulching and other grounds care.
