Family Camping Night
Friday, March 27 – Saturday, March 28 Camp in the great outdoors at O’Day park! This overnighter is perfect for beginners to learn the FUN-damentals of camping, including how to set up a tent, handy outdoor skills and having a cook-out. Bring a potluck side dish to share and we'll cook the hotdogs! We'll all enjoy a wonderful evening around the campfire. Then, wake up to breakfast on Saturday morning. Can you think of a better way to spend time with your family? The cost is per family for up to five people; additional family members are $10 each. Be sure to register by March 17. Min/Max: 5/25

Underwater Egg Hunt • Ages 4–12
Friday, April 3 Kids will have an egg-citing time searching the Renaud Center’s indoor pool for Easter eggs, and the Easter Bunny is sure to hop on by. Eggs will be placed in parts of the pool to accommodate all age groups. Make sure you keep an eye out for the golden eggs, which will get you a special prize at the end! Bring swimming goggles and a waterproof basket or container for gathering eggs. With no registration at the gate, parents should register kids by Friday, March 20. Find Your Fit Week
April 4–10 In an effort to inspire the community to “Live Well” and “Be Fit” The Renaud Center is partnering with local professionals to offer the community a week-long event full of screenings, classes, lectures, workshops and demonstrations on a variety of healthrelated topics. Look forward to Yoga and ZUMBA® classes, a blood drive, wellness screenings, wellness classes and more – all free and open to the public. Many of the lectures and classes will require pre-registration as space is limited.

Egg-stravaganza Glow Hunt • Ages 21+
Saturday, April 4 • 7:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. Bring a basket and flashlight to Civic Park for our after-dark Easter egg hunt. Search for thousands of glowing eggs, some of which are redeemable for special prizes. Bring your coolers (no glass) and lawn chairs while a DJ plays music after the hunt. Food trucks will be available on site for purchase!
This event will be held at Civic Park, rain or shine. Entry fee includes eggs and a bottle opener. All participants must be 21+.

Saturday, April 25 • 8:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Help the City of O’Fallon celebrate National Water Safety Month by participating in April Pool’s Day! This is a free event,and to celebrate we are giving out a free, one-day pass for a future visit to the Renaud Center OR Alligator’s Creek for each child that:
Stops by the Renaud Center anytime between 8 a.m.–7 p.m. on April 25 to color a water safety poster with the help of one of our lifeguards. Or, you can bring in your own poster that your child made at home. AND Parents Like and Share our Water Safety post on our Facebook page @RenaudCenter. The Water Safety post will be pinned at the top of the Facebook page that morning of April 25.
This offer is valid only on April 25, 2020. One pass per child. The pass expires September 4th, 2020.

• Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for children ages 1–4 and second for children ages 5–14. The good news is that drowning is the most preventable of accidents. • To prevent drowning, use the 5 layers of protection using the acronym S-A-F-E-R (Swim lessons, Adult supervision, Fences, Emergency response and Regulation flotation).

Saturday, June 20th Ready for a fun and competitive event the whole family will love? Join us for our first-ever Gator Games! This family battle royale will take place at Alligator’s Creek Aquatic Center with games and activities for all ages, both in and out of the water. Pre-registration is required and closes June 17. Saturday, July 18 Ahoy all ye mermaids and pirates! Join us for some mermaid and pirate-themed games, look for treasure, make crafts, and go swimming, too, then finish our fun with pizza. Be sure to bring your swimming suits. Space is limited and pre-registration is required by July 14.

Cardboard Boat Races
Sunday, July 19 To enter, build a two-person boat using only corrugated cardboard and duct tape. Decorations are allowed. All boats must be manually propelled. Awards and prizes will be awarded for the “Fastest Boat,” “Best Decorated Boat” and the “Titanic Award.” Registration cost is per boat. The deadline to register for this event is July 15.

Battleship Boat Challenge
Sunday, July 19 Following the cardboard boat races, two-participant boats use buckets to sink and capsize their opponent’s boats in this epic battle. Last boat standing wins! To enter, build the strongest battleship using only cardboard and tape and bring a bucket. All boats must be manually propelled, and decorations are allowed. Registration cost is per boat.
