Greetings! As City Manager, it is a pleasure to present to you our Program Guide featuring a multitude of family-friendly events and activities taking place across the City of Suffolk this Winter and Spring courtesy of our Library, Parks & Recreation, and Tourism.

The New Year is a time not only for renewed hope but also for new opportunities and new adventures! You’ll find those, and much more, within the pages of this Guide and throughout our City. Whether your resolution is to become more physically fit in 2023, to learn a new skill or craft, or your objective is to become more involved in your community, this can be your starting point! Achieve your fitness goals at one of our state-of-the-art recreation centers. Become a tourist in your own backyard and enjoy one of the many guided tours or excursions offered. Cozy up with a good book on a cold winter day courtesy of the Library, or take advantage of the many engaging opportunities they provide to keep us informed, enlightened, and entertained!

As we enter 2023, may this year bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, and a lot of new inspirations in your life. I invite you to discover what makes Suffolk a wonderful place to work, live, play, and visit. With a new year comes new possibilities- the choice is yours.

Albert S. Moor II, P.E. City Manager
