Anime Paint Night

Dates: January 16, February 20, March 20, and April 10 Ages: Teen Cost: Free Like anime? Like painting? Sign up for Anime Paint Night, get a painting kit, and create a masterpiece based on a popular anime! Registration is required. The pre-recorded Anime Paint Night vidoes premiere at 6:00PM on Suffolk Public Library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. All materials are provided. Please register to reserve your kit. Suffolk Handicrafts

Dates: January 20, February 17, March 17, and April 21 Ages: Teens, Adults Cost: Free Join Suffolk Handicrafts for new handicrafts each month, from knitting to sewing! The pre-recorded Suffolk Handicrafts videos premiere at 4:00PM on Suffolk Public Library’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Kits can be picked up at Morgan Memorial Library or North Suffolk Library, and are available on a first come, first served basis. Upcoming projects are Water Bottle Carrier, Adding Pockets, Weighted Eye Mask, and Reusable Vegetable Grocery Bag.

Spice of the Month

Dates: First week of each month Ages: 13+ Cost: Free Looking to cook something new? Give our Spice of the Month Club a try with a free sample of the spice, recipes for a main course and smaller dish or dessert to fit your needs or diet, and learn a little about the spice. Kits can be picked up the first week of the month at Morgan Memorial and North Suffolk Library locations and are available on a first come first served basis. Upcoming spices are Juniper Berries, Lavender, Fennel Seeds, and Allspice.

Escape to Spring Break!

Dates: April 8 - 15 Ages: 5+ Cost: Free Enjoy a variety of fun activities with Suffolk Public Library’s Escape to Spring Break kit! Kits include activities geared toward ages 5 and older and with caregiver involvement for those younger. Kits can be picked up at Morgan Memorial and North Suffolk locations and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Saturday Storytime & Craft

Dates: January 21, February 18, March 25, and April 15 Ages: Elementary Cost: Free It’s Saturday and time to get crafty! Join Mr. Kelvin as he reads a fun book and do a fun, related craft or activity. Explore Suffolk: April Showers, May Flowers Scavenger Hunt

Dates: April 10 - 15 Ages: All Cost: Free Location: All around Suffolk As the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.” Follow the clues (and the clouds!) and solve puzzles all around Suffolk for a chance to win botanical-themed prizes. Scavenger Hunt kits can be picked up April 10-15 during the Library’s regular hours at our Morgan Memorial and North Suffolk locations. Kits are available on a first come, first served basis. No registration is required.
