The Green Kitchen w/DIY Beeswax Wraps

This Earth Day, learn some ways to lessen your carbon footprint and make cost-efficient swaps that you can use every day. We will create our own beeswax wraps, which can be used as a plastic wrap alternative, and explore other eco-conscious options to include in your kitchen.

Walk with History in Cedar Hill Cemetery

Learn about additional resources for doing geneaology research and help others find the graves they are searching for. Please come dressed for the weather and light activity.

Date: February 24 Time: 6:30 - 8:30 PM Ages: Adult Cost: Free Location: Buffalo Wild Wings Inspired by the popular Hot Ones show, you and your friends will be eating wings at an increasing level of spice, all while making your argument for some of culture’s most popular, age-old questions. Is water wet? Is Star Wars or Star Trek the superior Sci-Fi franchise? Did Rose really have room on that door for her and Jack? You decide! Ranch may be necessary. Registration required.

Learn about enrolling in SNAP and WIC benefits and how to use them to your full advantage. Drop in anytime throughout the event.

Date Night Crafting: Framed Bouquet

Date: February 13 Time: 6:30 - 7:30 PM Ages: Adult Cost: Free Location: North Suffolk Library Celebrate Valentine’s Day a little early, do something creative together, and make more than just memories! In this class, use pressed flowers to create unique framed pieces to gift or display in your home, and make them even more special with your own photos. Light dessert will be served. Registration required. Each registration is for a frame, so couples are encouraged to register together.
