Training with the WFD

The Westerville Division of Fire (WFD) and neighboring fire agencies held a “live burn” exercise at a home along Hanawalt Road in November 2021. The controlled training scenario took approximately five hours. “Westerville firefighters are world-class and that is reflected in their prioritization of continuous education and training. These live exercises offer an invaluable opportunity to practice fire suppression and rescue strategies,” said WFD Chief Brian Miller.
