Upon receipt of the plans, CLG members will have 10 working days to comment or question by emailing crlproject@aucklandtransport.govt.nz The Traffic DWP has been deferred to next weeks’ meeting. The meeting has been moved from Thursday, 17th December to Tuesday, 15th December. The original slideshow for the DWP was quite long so has been reduced. The full length presentation will be distributed. The purpose of the SIBD is to avoid, remedy and mitigate the adverse effects arising from disruption to businesses, residents and community services / facilities so far as reasonably practicable. Please note: The SIBD is an overarching plan and handles complaints and issues across all other individual Delivery Work Plans. Complaints related to Air Quality (for example) will refer back to the Air Quality DWP. The initial SIBD was established in 2013. As a result, four potential areas of adverse effects were noted. Recognising priorities, situation and tenancies change over time Alan Howard-Smith, has come on board as Stakeholder Manager for C2 (Albert Street) to continue to engage with residents/businesses to prepare for the DWP update. Minutes or Action Points residents/business and will continue to proactively engage with others throughout the project. During construction throughout the night, there will be security guards onsite, CCTV and security lighting will be managed by the hired security company. The CRL 24/7 0800 number will also be available and will be advertised on the AT website, in the DWPs (once verified by Council) and in the ‘CRL Connection’ e-newsletter. ‘CRL Connection’ will be distributed 2-weekly to those directly adjacent to the early works area explaining what to expect in the coming weeks and general news and updates of what’s happening that week. If residents call the noise control line, calls will be forwarded to the contractors. The member of staff receiving the calls from the 0800 number will be trained according to the DWPs. This member of staff may not know the answer, but will know the procedure. If in-depth answers are needed, the queries will be forwarded to the relevant specialist who will know the project intimately. No property within the enabling works area was purchase therefore closed due to the CRL works. Footpaths will be maintained so foot traffic continues along with the entire early works workforce. Food establishments will also benefit from the food court closure at Downtown Shopping Centre in May. An AT wide campaign aimed at those who travel to the city will begin in February to prepare Aucklanders for the CRL and other city construction. Phase one of the bus shifts have started and phase two will start in April so it will give time for people to adjust. Construction Noise and Vibration – Craig Fitzgerald The Construction Noise and Vibration DWP has similar information to the Contract 2 document delivered by Claire Drewry on 13th October 2016. The purpose of the CNV DWP is to identify the Best Practicable Option (BPO) to avoid, remedy or mitigate adverse effects of project performance standards, management and mitigation strategies and is used as a process to address effects where compliance is not practicable. Consultation is already underway with residents and business owners in the area and will continue as the project moves forward. Neighbours will be aware of the type of work and the timings. AT has set up multiple meeting with residents of Tyler, Galway and Endeans to inform them of the work preparation. Few residence regularly keep in touch and come to open days. The ‘CRL Connection’ newsletter will be sent to the concierge and forwarded to all residents. The piling work and the demolition at Britomart will be within the CPO building so for large periods of time, neighbours will not see or hear any work. Next Meeting at AMP, Mairangi Room on Tuesday, 15th December 2015
