Proposed work / project: The demolition of buildings in the Project Area including foundations, and the removal and disposal of all demolished material and disturbed ground to enable construction of the proposed City Rail Link (CRL) underground station at Karangahape Road, including the Mercury Lane entrance.
Recommendation I have read the outline plan of works (OPW), supporting documents, and the report and recommendations on the OPW. I am satisfied that I have sufficient information to consider the matters required by the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) and make a recommendation under delegated authority. The OPW does show that: 1.
The project and the proposed works are within the scope of CRL Designation 25004 (and associated conditions); and
2.
The OPW has sufficient detail to describe the proposed works and measures to manage adverse effects under s176A(3).
Acting under delegated authority, the following change to the OPW is recommended to be requested under section 176A to better manage adverse effects from the proposed works: 1.
Prior to the demolition works commencing, the C3 Alliance Contractor shall provide to the Auckland Council Compliance Monitoring Officer the final version of the SiteSpecific Construction Noise Management Plans for 16D and 16E East Street and the final version of the Site-Specific Construction Vibration Management Plan for 14 East Street.
