Winning Students Perform “Rising Stars” concert December 14 at St. Luke’s Church in Bryn Mawr he Nelly Berman School of Music presents its “Rising Stars” concert this December 14 at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s church in Bryn Mawr. Award-winning students ages 6-18 from the area will perform to benefit the NBS Classical Music Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The concert will feature works by Beethoven, Chopin, Lizst, Debussy, Scriabin and Kapustin. I don’t think the length of the practice would make huge difference. The key point is how much I can improve during the practice,” Melody said. “Music is a part of me, as are my joyfulness, tears, hopes and dreams. My teachers, starting with Mrs. Nelly Berman, taught me that every piece of music I play is really an inside story of a composer’s life. I often feel blessed that I am able to use the sound that I create to share and interpret those

99 Young Actors Perform in Wolf PAC’s Fall Productions olf Performing Arts Center (Wolf PAC) will kick off its 20132014 production season with three family-friendly productions: a delightfully adorable production of “Disney’s 101 Dalmatians KIDS,” an original version of “Cinderella” and the timeless American classic “Our Town.” Wolf PAC presents a world premiere version of “Cinderella” by local playwright Lorraine Barrett that will have audiences rolling in the aisle. The cast 4-12 grade performers give this classic fairy tale a fresh makeover. The show runs December 13 at 7:30 p.m., December 14 at 2 p.m., and December 15 at 2 p.m. This year commemorates the 75th anniversary of the classic, “Our Town” by Thorton Wilder. The young actors in grades 4-12 will transform into the iconic characters of Grover’s Corner. This perennial favorite about life, love and

the passing of time asks the question “Do any human beings ever realize life while they live it, every, every minute?” The show runs Decem-
