• Engaged the National Centre for Diversity to deliver a programme of EDI E- Learning. Giving staff a greater awareness of cultural awareness and diversity issues. This on-line course was accessed by staff across UCG including SLT and Governors.

• EDI is covered and embedded into teacher training courses and there are specific units and assignments relating to EDI.

• The assessment of EDI is a mandatory requirement of the interview stage for Teachers and is a core requirement of the Job description/ Person Specification.

• Dedicated EDI Sections have been set up in the LRC and they now provide a broader range of learning materials to better reflect the protected characteristics of staff and students. In May 2022, UCG was ranked 43 in the national usage of JISC E-Books, which include EDI resources.
