Design Intention: The retail space in the International Quilt Study Center & Museum is designed to create a contemporary space with a design that compliments the existing structure with new curvilinear forms inspired by quilting. I worked on this project with my fellow classmate Kayla Kluver.

Design Intention: The CO.maha is designed to be an open and collaborative work environment by blurring the boundaries of programs together to spark creativity and allow users to bouce ideas off each other. In addition, the space is designed inspired by what makes Omaha, Nebraska unique, through materiality due to it’s placement in Omaha’s historical downtown Old Market district.

Unit 125 is designed to be a vacation rental that takes a step back in time with a midcentury modern aesthetic, as well as referencing the mechanical and structural design of the typewriter itself. This gives the feeling that the visitor is actually inside of a typewriter by reflecting the structural and mechanical elements of a typewriter. East Section Perspective

Site: The site is the Nebraska Typewriter Building located in the heart of downtown Lincoln, Nebraska just a few blocks from the Pinnacle Bank Arena, Memorial Stadium, the University of Nebraska - Lincoln campus and the Lied Performing Arts Center.
