What is it?

Bellinger River which is both boat and land based fishing. Where is it?

Mylestom is a small village nestled between the Bellinger River and the ocean. The Mylestom Baths are located at River Street, Mylestom. What’s there?

Apart from the tidal swimming pool there is a coffee shop, play ground and toilets. Boat launching facilities are also available.

For the kids

This is a great fishing spot for kids 8 years and older. As it’s a wharf style bath, small children can fall in the water. What bait should I use?

Best baits to use include live nippers, prawns and pilchards.

What lures are best?

Soft Plastics - 80mm - 120mm long seem to work best here.

Taj Shearman What fish should I target?

Best fish to target include Jewfish, Bream, Flathead and Tailor.

Best time to fish?

This is a great all year round spot.

What dream fish might I catch?

Big Jewfish have been landed here, plus some very nice size Flathead and Bream.
