Who are we and what do we do? We are the ones responsible for making your favorite books travel all over the world as we represent Clavis BV (Belgium), Clavis Publishing (New York), and third-party publishers internationally. The motto of Clavis Publishing is “We make children’s dreams come true” and it is our goal to extend that motto to include all children all over the globe.
Lise Merken is our adventurous sinologist. She lived in China for a year after college graduation and joined the Clavis family to help expand Clavis into the East Asian subcontinent. Now, she utilizes her diverse set of skills to manage markets all over the world.

Nele Mathé is our cultured go-getter. She is fluent in Dutch, Spanish, and English and is proficient in French and German! Her childhood dream was to work at a publishing house, so this child’s dream has come true because of Clavis!
