RICHMOND’S CHANGING SKYLINE Clayco teamed with Richmond-based Hourigan Construction, providing design-build services for Dominion Energy’s new corporate headquarters in downtown Richmond.

ICONIC TRANSFORMATION Clayco, in partnership with Turner Construction Company, is overseeing the reimagining and transformation of Chicago’s iconic Willis Tower for the Equity Office team. 6

EVERLY ON THE LOOP Mr. Jackson is a World War II veteran and has lived in The Delmar Loop his entire life. At first his jobsite visits were occasional, but towards the end of the project, Mr. Jackson stopped in almost daily, and the Clayco team gifted him his own hardhat and safety vest for his 93rd birthday. 9
CRG DEVELOPMENT The Milwaukee & Armitage Apartments at 1980 Milwaukee Street, just south of Logan Square in Chicago, will include 140 units and 20 parking spaces. 10
WIND RESISTANT The OG&E Metro Hardening project in Oklahoma City houses primary and back-up power and cooling for their existing data center and is built to withstand tornado/hurricane winds.

365 DAYS INCIDENT FREE The Dow XPS jobsite in Idaho went over 365 days without an OSHA Recordable Incident. 12

NUCLEAR POWER Concrete Strategies poured 21,000 cubic yards of cast-in-place concrete as well as 330,000 square feet of vertical architectural Class A cast-in-place concrete walls for Caddell Construction to build a new nuclear power training facility for the United States Navy in Goose Creek, South Carolina.

AROUND THE CLOCK Concrete Strategies works non-stop to meet their clients’ deadlines. They often start before dawn, and sometimes pour concrete into the night to get the sites ready for the next day of construction. 19

MENTORING MATTERS As part of Forum Studio’s outreach into the local community, members of the planning group acted as mentors for high school students in a landscape design competition. Frank Hu’s group from St. Mary’s High School took first place and got a chance to meet Jackie Joyner-Kersee! CENTENE CALL CENTER This 105,000 square-foot, multi-level call center in Farmington, Missouri will also include an adjacent day care facility for employees.

STATE-OF-THE-ART MEDICINE Once complete, the Cook County Central Campus Health Center will provide medical oncology, infusion, dental, general medicine, oral health, dermatology, ophthalmology, and other specialty out-patient services. In addition to five levels of administrative and professional office space, there is also a new emergency drive and access road realignments.

GIVING BACK Giving their time and talents, Construction Career Development Initiative (CCDI) connects youth in underserved communities with career opportunities in construction. Recently, CCDI hosted its 2nd Annual Bowling Night for our mentors and students (above). Darius Wherry, a graduate of North Tech High School, was awarded a “Build Our Future Scholarship� and is now attending Missouri Western State University, where he is studying Civil Engineering (left).

CENTER OF CAMPUS The Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and BJC HealthCare teamed with Clayco to build their new 12-story office building at the heart of the growing medical campus in the Central West End. The Mid Campus Center (MCC) consolidated medical offices that were housed at the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health and the Washington University Medical Center campus community. 38

ART & SCIENCE OF CURTAINWALL Ventana designs, supplies, and installs high performing curtain wall faรงade systems. By working closely with the design team, Ventana ensures a competitively priced faรงade that is water and air tight and allows for optimal thermal control of the interior space.

CARBON FIBERS The new 670,370-square-foot facility is three-quarters of a mile long. Toray Carbon Fibers is a major supplier of advanced materials to the aerospace industry. 42

TOTAL ECLIPSE On August 21st, the St. Louis office was in the path of TOTALITY and for 1 minute and 32 seconds witnessed a total eclipse.

LOGISTICAL PROXIMITY With close proximity to the Norfolk Southern rail line and Rickenbacker International Airport in Columbus, Ohio, the one-million-square-foot Ashville Pike development will provide access to major distribution and supply routes within the region.

ST. LOUIS COLLEGE OF PHARMACY Forum Studio designed this 7-story, 193,000-square-foot building, built by Paric Corporation. They worked with Ventana, who supplied and installed 40,000 square feet of exterior curtain wall. Concrete Strategies also provided the flatwork, tilt-up and precast concrete.

OFFICE WITH A VIEW In a joint venture with TW Constructors, Clayco built a 210,000-square-foot corporate headquarters for World Wide Technology on the lake at Westport Plaza in St. Louis. The sixstory building features a unitized curtain wall with structurally glazed granite tile on the lower levels and houses over 1,000 World Wide Technology employees. 53

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL? Clayco and Turner are building a 107,000-square-foot Football Performance Center adjacent to the Memorial Stadium at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The new facility will house football conference rooms, sports medicine areas, physical training areas as well as football operations.

EASY & AFFORDABLE America’s neighborhood general store is growing all over North America! Clayco is breaking ground on a fifth facility for Dollar General in Longview, Texas while finishing one in Amsterdam, New York and Atlanta.

TECHNOLOGY TEAM IMPROVEMENTS Forum Studio completed the workplace strategy and tenant improvements for Enterprise Holdings’ IT team, which enhances their collaborative and mobile work style.

STYLE & COMFORT Clayco built this original 300,000-square-foot warehouse, then constructed the 300,000-square-foot addition in 1997 and most recently completed another 300,000-square-foot addition for Soft Surroundings, a comfort clothing line for women, headquartered in Mexico, Missouri.

WORLD LEADER IN AVIATION PRODUCTS In business since 1905, the Continental Motor’s new 278,000-squarefoot manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama will produce many different types of aviation products.

The 294,000-square-foot building reflects Pfizer’s highest standards for excellence, quality, safety and value.

UPLIFT DATA PARTNERS helps Clayco track the progress on job sites by providing weekly drone photos and videos, as well as utility linework overlays. The overlays are crucial for a project, like the example shown above, which have complex chemical drainage and storage utilities built into the design.
