Cleveland Metroparks and Cleveland Clinic Launch ‘Explore Your Park’ Wellness Campaign

Cleveland Metroparks, together with Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland Clinic Children’s, encourage you to ‘Explore Your Park.’ The initiative is designed to improve the health of the community by connecting guests with the vast array of free, local programs, activities and experiences Cleveland Metroparks offers.

‘Explore Your Park’ with Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland Clinic Children’s is a new, holistic approach to wellness. Customized, location specific information will be available at 12 Cleveland Metroparks locations, connecting the community with activities and programming that drive a healthy lifestyle.

“With more than 300 miles of hiking, biking and bridle trails across 18 reservations, it’s never been easier to get outside and get active,” said Brian M. Zimmerman, Cleveland Metroparks CEO. “The ‘Explore Your Park’ initiative will drive awareness to our thousands of free recreation and education programs, and help residents get outdoors.”

Learn how to play shots from different lies and conditions. Get advice as to whether you should do all of your chipping with one club or use a variety. Acacia for the Young at Heart Slow down and enjoy a leisurely walk with Naturalist Natalie Schroder as we explore all that Acacia Reservation holds during this last full month of spring. Bird and Building Collisions Birds colliding with windows and buildings is a real problem and one of the top three human related causes of bird deaths and injuries. Cleveland Astronomical Society Dr. Ralph Harvey from Case Western Reserve University will present Planetary Defense. Asteroids are either portents of doom or a new frontier. Outdoor Recreation Cleveland Metroparks Outdoor Recreation offers a series of year-round programs from introductory experiences and skills classes to advanced trips and certification courses. These class levels allow novices interested in an activity to gain the skills and knowledge to safely and confidently participate in these activities on their own while still challenging the avid recreationist.
