Shakespeare’s glorious comedy of love and change comes to the National Theatre for the first time in over 30 years, with Rosalie Craig (London Road, Macbeth at MIF) as Rosalind.

The Trio Isimsiz was formed in 2009 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. However, all three members of the trio enjoy great success individually. Erdem Misirlioglu was a Concerto Finalist in the BBC Young Musicians Competition; Pablo Hernán Benedí is a member of the Chiaroscuro Quartet and Michael Petrov represents the UK in the European Concert Halls Organisation Rising Star series.

National Theatre Delayed Live Screening

With her father in exile, Rosalind and her cousin Celia leave their lives and journey into the Forest of Arden. There, released from convention, Rosalind experiences the liberating rush of transformation as she embraces a different way of living and falls spectacularly in love. It never really bothered me that I’d never met my mum. It never occurred to me I needed to meet her to ‘find out who I was’, as it didn’t seem likely I’d discover I was someone different to who I thought I was. Could it turn out I was three stone lighter than I thought, or I spoke Italian or supported Arsenal or had a fear of Liquorice Allsorts? But after the birth of my own son, I realised it’s quite an event to have a child, and she may well remember giving birth to me, and maybe even the adoption. See Mark Steel in his newest stand up show, a surprising and enthralling story told with aplomb.

Horton's challenge is twofold - not only must he protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, but he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger, kidnapping and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him.

Other Information For all shows at the Queen’s and Landmark Theatres, a £1 booking fee will be added per transaction. This charge contributes to our ticket processing costs. Groups of 10 or more, including schools and our Supporters and Members do not have to pay this charge – see p35 to find out more about our membership scheme. Love Arts – North Devon Theatres’ Trust is a registered charity and our beautiful venues in Barnstaple and Ilfracombe are expensive to maintain. Love Arts is a £1.50 per seat payment, included in the ticket price. This payment helps us improve the theatre experience for our audience and preserve the buildings for future generations.
