We specialise in the hire of beautiful and extraordinary Nordic tipis for weddings, parties, festivals and just about any outdoor event where people are looking for a practical and visually stunning alternative to a standard white marquee. Since we started the business in 2007 we have built a reputation for being one of the most professional, reliable and friendly companies in our field. 2XU 7LSLV Whether you are planning a summer wedding or a midwinter party, our tipis allow your imagination to run wild, with a limitless number of creative opportunities to make your event a truly memorable occasion. Traditionally, people wishing to host an outdoor event have had little choice but to choose a conventional marquee. Holding your event in our tipis presents a practical, visually stunning and competitively priced alternative. From late spring to early autumn, depending on the mood you wish to create, our Giant Hat tipi offers the versatility to have its sides up or down. This enables you to make the most of a stunning view or a sunny day. Inspired by the Sรกmi people of Lapland, our tipis are strong, warm and cosy, which also makes them perfect for enduring the worst of British weather. With our Bamse max open fire (pictured above) roaring inside, a truly magical and unique atmosphere can be created. When combined with our tent heaters this results in a super cosy space even in the middle of winter. We specialise in providing a bespoke service and will tailor a solution unique to you. 5

TIPI VILLAGE

GIANT HAT TIPI At over ten metres in diameter and nearly seven metres high, the Giant Hat tipi is the largest of all our tents and forms the backbone of our rental business. Anyone wishing to host forty or more guests will need at least one of our Giant Hat tipis, although any number can be joined together to create a single covered space. This allows the customer to tailor the amount of tipis required to the size of the event and the number of guests. An added feature of the Giant Hat tipi is that some or all of the sides can be raised, ideal for taking advantage of fine weather or a lovely view. From small family gatherings and country weddings to large corporate events, the Giant Hat is the tipi to choose. CIRRUS 40™ TIPI Although perfect as a stand alone tipi, the Cirrus 40 comes into its own when linked to a Giant Hat. At 8.5 metres in diameter the Cirrus 40 is slightly smaller than the Giant Hat, which makes it ideal for creating a reception or bar area. Accompanied by the log fire and our soft furnishings the Cirrus 40 can be transformed into an intimate chill out area. THE LITTLE HAT The Little Hat tipi is a useful addition to our larger tents. It measures 5.5 metres in diameter and does not have sides, which makes it perfect for barbeques and hog roasts. Made of the same material as our other tipis, the Little Hat is as attractive as it is practical. It makes a great feature on a lawn and is very popular as a drinks and food serving station. TIPI VILLAGE Many of our customers find the perfect location for their event, then struggle to source local accommodation and transport for their guests. The perfect solution is our World Inspired Tipi Village. Each tipi is supplied with a groundsheet and will be pitched by us, ready for your guests to snuggle into at the end of the night.

Wow! The tipis were out of this world - a real show stopper! It was quite a windy day but if anything battening down the hatches made it more cosy and kept everyone in, which added to the enjoyment! The planning process may seem a bit daunting from here on in so whether you’re trying to source lavatories, need advice on catering tents, or just want a bit of inspiration, please feel free to give me a call. I love talking tipis. I spent a season with the crew four years ago and as well as enjoying the outdoors, I learnt everything there is to know about the tipis. Now, four years on I head the office team and I’m usually the first person you’ll speak to you when you make an enquiry. I’m passionate about giving you the very best service leading up to your event. I hope this makes working with us an easy and above all enjoyable experience. WHERE’S EVERYTHING GOING TO GO? We know there are many questions that need to be answered when planning an important event and we try to make the process as simple as possible by offering clear and concise solutions. Perhaps you have a detailed plan in your mind of how it’s all going to work or maybe you have no idea where to start. Don’t worry. We can talk through your ideas and I can put together a bespoke floor plan for you detailing your interior furnishings, their positions and most importantly how it’s all going to work. This means on the day all you have to do is enjoy yourself!

LAVATORIES AND GENERATORS Our tipis often find themselves in locations that require facilities to be hired in. We work closely with lavatory and generator companies who will provide high quality products and a reliable service for your event. We only work with companies who we trust and with whom we share a similar company ethos. This ensures that you get the best service on the day. WORLD INSPIRED IDEAS Since 2007, and after many hundreds of events we’ve come across a diverse and eclectic range of people doing all sorts of fabulous things inside our tipis. Whether you have a clear vision of how you want your tipis to look on the day or you need a bit of spark to ignite your imagination we have a whole gallery of inspiring photos from previous events to give you some ideas. A simple country wedding, lavish 40th birthday party or relaxed festival themed celebration, whatever your vision, rest assured that we will work hard to help you to create the day you imagine. How about a disco ball for your dance floor? Or maybe you would like some surrounding trees floodlit? Let us know, we can do it. Maybe you want to hang some bunting but you don’t know the best place to fix it, allow me to make suggestions. Perhaps you would like to wrap some of the poles with flowers? Please ask, we can give you exact measurements and provide you with a 3D diagram. Here at World inspired Tents, we work hard to be the very best at what we do. Modesty dictates that we can’t make that claim, so it’s fantastic to win awards and receive recognition from our customers. We are also hugely conscious of our impact on the environment. As well as recycling and reusing we also want to replenish, which is why in 2010 we launched our Tree Campaign. It’s very important for our customers to know they’re in safe and reliable hands. This is one reason why being a member of MUTA, the UK marquee trade association, is so important. The Wedding Industry Awards is the UK’s only truly independent scheme, set up to officially recognise the very best suppliers in the industry. In 2010 we won the regional award for Best Marquee Supplier in the West Country, thanks directly to the feedback and votes from our customers. Then, early in 2012, we went on to become National award winners for Best Marquee Supplier in the country. It was wonderful to receive such high recognition for the hard work and passion that we put into World Inspired Tents. In 2010 we won the West Country Wedding Award, for Best Marquee Supplier, which we are very proud of. This was the result of outstanding feedback from previous customers and was particularly rewarding after only two tipi pitching seasons. We are proud members of MUTA, which is the regulatory standards authority for the UK marquee industry. To be a member we are continually assessed by MUTA in compliance with best industry practice for operational standards and health & safety. It’s very important to choose a MUTA member when hiring a tipi or marquee.

Tentipi Assured Rental Programme (TARP) is an accreditation and seal of approval from the manufacturer of our tipis, which is awarded to a select few tipi companies who follow strict guidelines on safe use and maintenance of the tipis.

2XU 7HDP Since we started World Inspired Tents in 2007 we have worked extremely hard to build the team that we have today. The result is a group of individuals who are totally dedicated to making sure that every aspect of our involvement with your event runs perfectly. Let us introduce you to some of the key people in our team...

Lisa (Operations Manager) is in charge of making sure our crews get to the right place, at the right time, with the right kit… every time. She doesn’t know the word failure. As well as many other things, Lisa is in charge of Health & Safety, which we take very seriously in all aspects of our business.

Amy (Event Manager) and her small team look after all customer aspects of the business, from discussing enquiries through to managing bookings. Having been with us from the start, Amy has a great knowledge of everything you need to know about our tipis and how they could work for your event. It’s very likely that Amy will be the person you meet if you need a site visit. If that wasn’t enough, Amy also looks after all of our marketing and social media, so keep an eye out for her blogs, tweets and posts.

Nicola (Business Administrator) does a whole load of great things at World Inspired. She helps Amy in the office, Lisa with operations and Donna with finance.

Edward (Managing Director) & Donna (Financial Director) spent many years in the corporate world before deciding in 2007 that it was time to start something new and for themselves. The result was the creation of World Inspired Tents. Glyn (Crew Chief), bottom & James (Crew Leader), top make it all happen on site. Glyn and James, with their crews, are the folks who come and set-up your tipis, make sure everything is in place for your event, then come and take them down when it’s all over. Despite their rugged exteriors they are very user friendly. polite, experienced, with a keen eye for detail and dedicated to the cause. They will make sure everything runs perfectly whilst our teams are on site.

We’re very conscious that CO emissions equals bad news for the long term sustainability of our planet. This prompted us in 2010 to launch the World Inspired Tree Campaign. The idea is very simple. For every event, we give our customers a tree sapling as a gift, all ready to plant in to the ground. As well as marking the occasion, given a bit of care and protection, the sapling will grow into a beautiful tree, absorbing nasty CO and emitting lovely oxygen for many hundred’s of years. With over 100 saplings already planted, our tree campaign is firmly rooted in our company ethos.

,I \RX FKRRVH XV You’ve found the perfect tipis but how do you go about booking them for your event? The first thing to do is make contact by giving us a call or sending an email and share your ideas with us. Once we have an idea of what you’re after we can create a detailed, itemised quotation for you. We can revise this as many times as you like until you are absolutely satisfied with what you need. We can always make small adjustments nearer the date of your event. We have many years experience pitching our tipis in all sorts of places; some easy, some a bit more challenging. If you are at all unsure about the suitability of your venue then please invite us along for a site visit. We’re more than happy to do this free of charge, giving you the chance to meet us, address any questions and talk tipis! Once the date and venue is secured and you’re happy with your quote then we are ready to go ahead and book your tipis. We will send you a booking form and deposit invoice for 25% of your booking. Once you have signed and returned your booking form along with your deposit, we will secure the tipis and date for you. One month before your event we will contact you to confirm your final requirements and send you your final balance invoice. This will need to be paid no later than 10 days prior to your event.
