I’m made from 227 popsticks!
My large size means I’m a perfect table decoration this Easter!
1. Use the guide provided on page 8 (which is not to scale) to lay out every second popstick on a flat surface (as your base), then glue the missing popsticks onto each end of your base popsticks.
2. Add the next layer of popsticks, gluing them between the highest popsticks in the previous layer. This will gradually give your bunny height.
3. Continue to layer the popsticks on the highest points until you have 8 layers and every second popstick has 7 layers. Allow to dry.
4. Flip your bunny over. Along the base, glue another popstick to the rows that only have 7 layers. This will help your bunny to stand.
5. Create a pastel purple colour by combining white and purple paint. Paint the inside of the bunny using this paint. Allow to dry.
6. Glue a pom pom to the back of the bunny to act as a tail. Your Popstick Bunny decoration is now ready to put on display!

3. Cut a piece of embroidery thread around 1 metre long. Thread through the sewing needle and tie a knot in the end.

7. Assemble your match box. Use glue dots to seal the edges. Cut a piece of felt 5 x 11cm and attach to the outside of the match box using glue dots. Cut another piece of felt 3.5 x 5.5cm and insert inside.

Origami Bunny Bunting Use the following steps to fold yourself a bunny that can be used to complete the activity on page 7. You can also click here to follow our full video tutorial on the CleverPatch™ YouTube Channel. You will need a square sheet of paper to begin with. We are using CleverPatch ™ Origami Paper.
1. With the white side facing up, fold the square in half, creating a rectangle, then open back out. Repeat with the opposite sides so the paper is now sectioned into 4 squares.
2. Fold the paper in half again, this time corner to corner, to create a triangle. Open back out then repeat with the opposite corners.
3. Pick the paper up, pinching along one of the diagonal folds and pushing the paper in towards the centre.
4. Working with the folds you have already created, bring 2 corners together on the left and 2 on the right.
5. Crease the folds to create a triangle.
6. Take the top left and right corners and fold them down to the bottom point. There is now a square within the triangle.
7. Fold the left and right corners of the square you have just created into the centre line.
8. Fold the bottom points upwards, aligning their edges to the outer triangle edges and creating 2 smaller triangles.
9. Fold the outer points of the 2 triangles you just created, back into the centre line and crease. You now have 2 mini triangles.
10. Fold one mini triangle back down toward the centre point. Use your finger to open the edge of the smaller triangles, creating a pocket.
12. Repeat this process of tucking the 11. Fold the mini triangle back up and mini triangle into the pocket on the tuck it into the pocket you have just created. Press down to secure in place. opposite side so both are now folded in place as shown.

Origami Bunny Bunting – Continued
13. Flip the paper over making sure the 14. Repeat folding the left corner in triangle is now pointing upwards. Fold and down in the same manner. the right corner down and in so the long edge runs along the centre line.
15. Take the bottom points and fold them up and outwards, creating a 90 degree angle to the vertical edge.
16. Fold the bottom right hand corner up toward the middle of the paper. Fold along the diagonal so it matches the fold below it.
18. Pick the bunny up. You will notice 4 flaps. Spread them out. Hold the bunny loosely (shown above) and blow into the front point of the paper. It might take a few goes to get the right angle and amount of air!
17. Repeat on the opposite side to complete your bunny shape.
19. Your bunny should now be inflated and brought to life! Create as many bunnies as you like and then follow the steps on page 7 to complete the Bunny Bunting activity!
