Foil Embossed Star These foil embossed stars will brighten any Christmas tree! Materials:

1. Use CleverPatch™ silver acrylic paint to paint the edges and one side of your star. Allow to dry.

2. Place your wooden star onto aluminium embossing foil and trace around the edges. Use scissors to cut out your star. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.

3. Place your photo under the star and position the centre circle around your face. Trace the circle and cut out, putting the photo to the side for attaching in step 7.

4. Lightly sketch out your design onto the foil star. Use a scratch board tool to emboss your design into the star.

5. Glue the foil star to the undecorated side of the wooden star, ensuring the raised side of your design is facing upwards. Adult supervision is recommended when using a glue gun.

6. Use scissors to carefully pierce a hole in the top of your foil star, aligning it with the hole in the wooden star.

7. Glue your photo to the foil star using a glue gun. Thread a piece of ribbon through the hole and tie the ends together. Your embossed star is now ready to hang on the tree!

This tray is the perfect way to serve Santa his milk and cookies on Christmas Eve!

1. Construct your wooden tray following the instructions provided. Stretch a rubber band across both sides of the tray to hold it in place.

2. On the bottom of your tray, use PVA glue around the edge to secure the pieces together. Leave the rubber bands on and allow to dry.

3. Select the craft paper you wish to use. You will need to cut 10 strips, each measuring 3.3cm x 23.4cm. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.

4. Using white acrylic paint, give your tray an undercoat. Allow to dry.

5. Use red acrylic paint on the underside and both the inside and outside of the tray edges. Leave the base white as it will be covered in craft paper. Allow to dry.

6. Glue each strip of paper across the base of your tray. Trim any excess paper using a cutting knife. Adult supervision is recommended.

7. Coat your entire tray in Mod Podge® Gloss to seal the tray. Allow to dry.

8. Your tray is now ready to serve Santa his milk and cookies on Christmas Eve!

Cheery Pencil Toppers Materials: •

Foam Sheets – Large – Pack of 10 – 10788

Other Materials Required: Scissors, cutting knife, pencils, template (page 8)

1. Print and cut out the templates on page 8. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors. We have used the template as a guide to trace onto and cut out pieces of foam.

2. Use the beard template as a guide and cut along the bold line. Adult supervision is recommended when using a cutting knife. Place the circle into the slit of the beard. This will be Santa’s face.

3. Use a glue gun to secure the two foam pieces together. Allow to dry. Adult supervision is recommended when using a glue gun.

4. Next, use the glue gun to attach the nose and mouth to Santa’s face. Allow to dry.

5. Glue the wiggle eyes above the nose and the moustache over the top of the mouth. Allow to dry.

6. Glue the red hat to the back of Santa’s face and the white rim to the front of his face. Attach a pom pom to the end of Santa’s hat using glue. Allow to dry.

7. Wrap a chenille stem around a pencil 6 times.

8. Bend the top half of the chenille stem into any design you choose. Use the glue gun and attach the back of your Santa face to the top of the chenille stem. Allow to dry.

9. Use the other templates provided to create a variety of cheery pencil toppers, or create a unique combination of your own!

Dancing Reindeer Glitter Bauble

Create your very own bauble and have all the reindeer rockin’ around the Christmas tree! Materials:

• CleverPatch™ Acrylic Paint Tube – White – 75ml 16886

1. Draw an 8cm circle onto an old box. Create another circle in the middle of this circle by tracing the bottom of a tree. Cut out the disc, paint it white & allow to dry. Adult supervision is recommended when using scissors.

2. Use a glue brush to spread PVA over the disc then cover it in glitter. Allow to dry then repeat on the other side.

3. Spread a layer of PVA glue over the tree using a glue brush and roll it in some glitter. This will give the effect of snow. Allow to dry.

4. Work out where the disc will sit within the bauble and spread PVA glue on the inside below that mark. Cover in glitter and allow to dry.

5. Push the base of your tree into the centre hole of your disc. Create 3 slits around the tree and push in 3 reindeer. Fix in place with a hot glue gun.

6. Place hot glue around half the rim of the disc and glue into the first half of the bauble. Spoon in some extra glitter on top of the disc, then glue in the other side to close the bauble.

7. Cut and thread a length of gold string through the top of the bauble to create a hanger. Create a bow from green ribbon and glue on top to finish your bauble!

1. Decorate 3 Terracotta Flowerpots using a red Ceramic & Terracotta Marker. Add some sparkle using PVA glue and red glitter. Allow to dry.

Ring-a-ding-ding! These beautiful bells are perfect for your front door this Christmas!

2. Thread a Christmas Ribbon through the flowerpot hole and tie a large knot on the inside to secure. Repeat for all the flowerpots, leaving different lengths of ribbon at the top.

3. Tie a second ribbon to the inside knot of the first ribbon. Thread a gold bead onto it and tie a large knot at the end to hold the bead in place. Repeat for all 3 bells.

4. Create 9 cones out of Cover Paper. Use the template on pg 9 to trace a 7cm diameter circle, cut a straight line to the centre then twist into a cone. Use tape to hold in place.

5. If the cone is closed at the pointy end, cut a small amount off to create an opening. Thread a piece of wool through the hole and tie a knot on the inside to secure. Repeat so you have 3 cones.

6. Bring the 3 cones together and tie the excess wool at the top. Cut a longer length of wool, tie it to the 3 cone bundle. Use a safety needle to thread on some glitter pom poms.

7. Create 3 more of these cone and pom pom strands using different lengths of wool. Gather these together with your 3 strung and decorated flowerpot bells. Tie a knot at the top and it’s ready to hang!
