Scissors and Glue
1. Print out the matchbox template provided on page 8. Cut it out and stick it onto a sheet of cover paper as shown.
Pull the box down to reveal a precious photo inside!
2. Carefully, cut out your box pieces. Cut along the broken lines and fold along the solid lines as shown.
3. To create the box, fold the long sides up, then short sides around. Fold the extra paper up and over the short sides. Glue into place.
4. To create the outside box sleeve, glue the flap to the long side as shown.
5. Insert your photo into the inside of the box and secure with glue.
6. Cut a long length of Satin Ribbon. Glue to the back of the box to create your necklace.
7. Insert the inside box into the outside box sleeve and decorate with colourful craft items that Mum will love!

Use your engineering skills to construct a frame that doubles as an earring holder!
1. Paint 20 popsticks in various shades of pink. Start with the pink paint full strength and as you paint each popstick, add slightly more white paint to create a subtle ombre effect. Allow to dry.
2. Make 3 frames out of 12 of your popsticks. Secure with glue. Use the remaining 8 popsticks to create a grate over 2 of the frames. These pieces will be the earring holder component of the frame. Secure with glue. © CleverPatch 2017 - www.cleverpatch.com.au
3. Assemble the 3 frames together meeting along 1 edge, creating a ‘Y’ shape as shown. Secure with glue.
4. Finally, use glitter foam stickers to decorate the frame. It’s now ready to pop a photo on the back!

Tape
1. Begin by painting your card with a bright colour. Allow to dry.
Create a design that Mum will love!
2. In the meantime, create a template for your embroidery design. We created a heart and a flower!
3. Place the template over the top of the card. Push your needle through the template and card, creating holes that will be used for your embroidery design.

4. Thread your needle with a long piece of embroidery thread. Begin weaving the thread through the holes in a random pattern filling the space in the centre. Tape the loose ends of the thread to the back of the design.
5. Thread your needle with another colour. Sew a back stitch around the edge of the design so it really stands out! Tape the loose ends of the thread to the back of the design. Now your card is ready! 6

Personalise a cute little flowerpot for Mum to pop on her desk!
1. Using the template provided on 2. Paint 3 stars with bright page 8, carefully cut out a circle colours. Allow to dry. photo. Glue the cut-out photo onto the inside base of the patty pan.
4. Using the leftover cardboard from the stars, carefully cut out 2 leaf shapes. Paint the leaf shapes and 2 popsticks green. Allow to dry.

5. Apply glue to the centre of the star, then stick the next star on top. Repeat this with the final star then the patty pan. Attach the stem and leaves using glue to the back of the stars. Allow to dry.
3. Paint your terracotta pot using silver paint. Allow to dry.
6. Roll some modelling clay into a ball and place it into the bottom of the flowerpot. Stick the flower’s stem into the pot. To add sparkle to the pot, decorate using star stickers. Now your pot is ready for Mum! 7 7
