Over the Rainbow Socks Materials: • Socks – Pack of 20 – 16557 • Fabric Colours – Tie Dye – 1 Litre Set of 10 Colours – 18869 • Rubber Bands – 100g Pack – 10653 • Empty Craft Bottles – Pack of 12 – 11049 • Other materials required: Water in a tray, plastic zip lock bag, iron & splash mat.
Put some colour in your step with these amazing rainbow socks!
1. Take a sock and secure rubber bands along its length. The more sections you have the more colours you can use in your rainbow! Repeat this on the other sock.
2. Now the socks are tied, dampen them in a tray of water being sure to wring out any excess water.
3. Use a craft bottle to apply colour to the first section of your sock.
4. Continue applying different colours to each of the sections until the sock is completely covered. Place your socks into a plastic zip lock bag and let it sit for 4 hours in a refrigerator.
5. Remove from the refrigerator and allow to air dry completely before removing the rubber bands and rinsing out the dye completely under a cold tap.
6. To set your design, place your socks into a dryer or allow your socks to air dry and then iron your design for 5-10min. Your bright, groovy socks are now ready to wear!

• Empty Craft Bottles – Pack of 12 – 11049 • Glitter Iron-On Sheets – A4 – Pack of 10 – 17987 • Wadding – 200g Pack – 11111 • Other materials required: Water in a tray, plastic zip lock bag, scissors, template (pg 9), iron & splash mat.
1. Begin by dampening your cushion cover. Wring out any excess water.
2. Pinch the fabric in the centre of your cover and twist into a spiral.
3. When you let go you should be able to see where your galaxy will appear.
4. Using a spray bottle, spray blue fabric colour over the twisted area of your cover.
5. Using a craft bottle, drop yellow spots onto your design to create bright stars.
6. Place into a plastic zip lock bag & let sit for 4 hours in a refrigerator. Allow to air dry completely before rinsing under a cold tap.
7. To set your design, place your cushion cover into a dryer or allow to air dry and then iron your design for 5-10min.
8. Cut out your rocket using the template provided. Place onto your galaxy, shiny side up and cover with baking paper.
9. Iron, using the cotton setting, for 1 minute. Remove the baking paper and plastic film to reveal your shiny rocket ship!

Dreamy Dolphin Pillow Materials:

2. Pinch your cover in the centre and pull between your thumb and forefinger to create a tube. Tie off with a rubber band.
3. Continue to pull between your thumb and forefinger to create a longer tube and tie off with another rubber band.
4. Using a craft bottle, colour the sections you have created with different fabric colours. Place into a plastic zip lock bag and let it sit for 4 hours in a refrigerator.
5. Remove from the refrigerator and allow to air dry completely before removing the rubber bands and rinsing the dye out completely under a cold tap.
6. To set your design, place your cushion cover into a dryer or allow to air dry and then iron your design for 5-10min.

Sunburst Apron Materials: • Cotton Apron – 15749 • Fabric Colours – Tie Dye – 1 Litre Set of 10 Colours – 18869 • Empty Craft Bottles – Pack of 12 – 11049 • Rubber Bands – 100g Pack – 10653 • Other materials required: Water in a tray, plastic zip lock bag, iron & splash mat.
You’ll be super creative in the kitchen wearing your Sunburst Apron!
1. Begin by dampening your apron. Wring out any excess water.
2. Pinch your apron where you would like your burst to appear and pull between your thumb and forefinger (the more you pull through, the bigger your burst).
3. Secure with a rubber band and repeat all over your apron where you would like your bursts to be.
4. Using a craft bottle, apply fabric colour to the tips of the bursts. Place your apron into a plastic zip lock bag and let it sit for 4 hours in a refrigerator.
5. Remove from the refrigerator and allow to air dry completely before removing the rubber bands and rinsing the dye out completely under a cold tap.
6. To set your design, place your apron into a dryer or allow to air dry and then iron your design for 5-10min. Enjoy making tasty treats wearing your designer apron!

Love Heart Tea Towel Materials:
• Cotton Tea Towel – Pack of 10 – 18026 • Fabric Colours – Tie Dye – 1 Litre Set of 10 Colours – 18869 • Rubber Bands – 100g Pack – 10653 • Empty Craft Bottles – Pack of 12 – 11049 • Other materials required: Template (pg 10), scissors, washable marker, water in a tray, plastic zip lock bag, iron & splash mat.
1. Print out the template provided and cut out.
2. Dampen the tea towel in water, squeezing out any excess. Fold in half lengthways, aligning the template edge with the folded edge. Trace with a washable marker.
3. Pleat fold the tea towel along the traced template line.
4. Secure a rubber band tightly around this line.
5. Secure more rubber bands around the tea towel at different intervals.
6. Using an empty craft bottle, apply your first colour to the first section of tea towel.
7. Continue to apply your chosen colours to each of the sections. when complete, place into a plastic zip lock bag and let it sit for 4 hours in a refrigerator.
8. Allow to air dry completely before removing the rubber bands and rinsing the dye out completely under a cold tap.
9. To set your design, place your tea towel into a dryer or allow to air dry and then iron your design for 5-10min. Hang your beautiful tea towel in your kitchen ready to use!

Combine the tie dye techniques you’ve learnt with these awesome tying patterns to create some super funky T-Shirts!

Bunch the t-shirt vertically and tie the rubber bands around the middle section of the t-shirt. You can also add a rubber band to each of the sleeves. This would result in a shirt similar to our example below.
Bunch the t-shirt horizontally and tie the rubber bands along the shirt, holding the pattern together. This would result in a shirt similar to our example below.
Pull sections of the t-shirt out into a point and tie the rubber bands along this point. The more points you tie, the more circles you can create. This would result in a shirt similar to our example below.
