A multifamily dwelling was thought as an exercise in the second year of architecture’s major using a relative as a actual client for the exercise. Thereby the habitation designed is a compact house with cheap constructive ďŹ ninshings in oder to have a cheap construction process and materials.

COMMUNITY CENTER concept
A solo project to a Community Center in a residential neighborhood (Bom Pastor) in Natal/RN, was tought as a arragement of blocks with the same type and features, totally laid on the ground without floors above it. The conception of the shape have a great influence from the architectural precedents. Beyond the model blocks a theater and a chapel is developed in the site.
precedents The Italian Galleries were a inspiraton combined with a modern type of arch having the Diogenes Rebouças’ project of school as another reference.

TECHNICAL SCHOOL The architectural dimension in this project is part of an Integrated Studio performed in the third year in partnership with MaĂsa Cortez. The architectural program proposes the design of a Technical School, which throughout the exercise conception approached, the understanding of a constructive and structural system aimed a rationalization, optimization and economy of construction applied in the Classroom’s Block in a detailed level.

INTERMODAL STATION This project consists of a process of intervention, matured throughout the second semester of 2013 within the discipline of Integrated Studio where students have to think about urban and architectural proposals having an axis of Avenue with more than 5 km as local of intervention. Thus, the group composed by Cleyton Santos, Ana Pristo and Michel Lardin aims to use the tramway as an integrator of urban renewal.

PHOENIX BRANCH LIBRARY The following project is in progress during the second semester of 2015 in partnership with Francisco Diaz inside the Architectural’s Studio subject in the third year of architecture in The Design School at Arizona State University as part of my BSMP Academic Exchange Program. The board explains all the process of conception to a Branch Library to city of Phoenix, AZ.

RIBEIRA_ Historic Downtown This following map was produced into a research about the historical buildings in the Ribeira neighborhood (Natal/RN). Into a fraction of the district the proposal was get the situatuion about the conservation of the built heritage.

GRAPHIC WORKS Pesonal Branding Exercise The brading “Cleyton Santos_Architecture” is an exercise from a Portfolio’s subject and has as a starting based in stillystic intentions and the following precedentes as tools of brading creation:
Ÿ The insertion of a minimalist sign combined with an
archetype of a House (a common work form architects). Ÿ The use of a geometric lines and shapes from the Optical
Art movement in order to give perspective and dynamism when we look at the brand. Ÿ This precedents are used in order to have a easy reading
of the sign.

What I have learned through this Journey ... When I started my architecture’s major I have never thought before or was not aware enough about how big and diverse is this field of knowledge and how it exerts influence in the human relations. Nowadays, I can say that I have learned so many things and actually, the idea of learning is just beginning. Many professors, scholars and masters of architecture made presence throughout this trajectory and were estabilshed as great references to follow. Inside the broad multiplicity of interpretations and positions about “what is it” or “how to make” architecture heard from these references, I formulated my own intepretation, which I strive to carry it to the professional practice:
The architecture is an human attempt to create a “Place”, since a Place carries not only a region bounded by limits, a Place is a region which carries a soul and becomes from it a trasformative element to the people, changing their behaviors, creating or improving relationships that go beyond the physical space, becoming affective memories to the persons.
