Nurturing teachers

“I have just been to my son’s final parent/teacher evening. Heading into Matric exams. I just want to say a hearty thank you to all teachers. I know that you must so often feel unappreciated, but I for one appreciate you so very much. We’ve had our ups and downs, anxiety and panic attacks, but for 12 years our school (which is the teachers) have held my boy in their hands. Thank you, thank you. For all of this I say, Thank you. Besides that, please teachers know how important you are. You really are.”
