The excitement builds… Dentists and practice teams register in record numbers for the most anticipated dental event of the year. The Dentistry Show (Friday - Saturday, March 2nd - 3rd, 2012) really isn’t one to miss. Expecting its largest attendance ever at the NEC Birmingham, the show will provide an exceptional occasion to network with thousands of dental professionals and provide opportunities and solutions to benefit the entire practice. The award-winning show is one of the UK’s fastest growing trade events and is the dental market’s first buying show in the annual calendar.
The Dentistry Show features six conference streams focussed in each member of the dental team: /// NEW! Future Dentist /// Aesthetic Dentist /// Dental Business /// Hygienists and Therapists Symposium /// Nursing Network /// Aesthetic Technician Each of the conferences are designed to deliver the most relevant and exciting experience for their audience. This is an unmissable opportunity for dental professionals of every background to network with their peers and industry experts, as well as source the best materials, solutions, training and advice. Meanwhile, the exhibition has expanded dramatically yet again for 2012 with almost 300 (290 at the time of print) exhibitors as The Dentistry Show cements its position as the UK’s fastest and most exciting trade show conference and exhibition in the UK. Exhibitors and sponsors making their debut this year include Colgate, Dental Buying Group (DBG), GSK, Skillbond, Molar, Enlightened Smiles, Oral B and J&S Davis. “There’s a real buzz of excitement among both dental teams and the supplier community on the back of the show’s storming success and attendance growth last year,” said show director Chris Brown.
“It is a premier occasion to gather the opinion-formers of the dental industry and gain knowledge from them.” Derek Watson Free to register, this year’s show presents a world-class faculty of speakers who will deliver more than 90 verifiable CPD hours of conference sessions on the latest products, technologies and legislation to assist in the smooth running of the practice for all members of the team. “We’ve continued to invest in the education programme adding an exciting new conference, created new partnerships within the profession, expanded our marketing programmes and grown the exhibition side of the show dramatically. “Delegates are responding to the refreshing, lively format of the show, the quality of the clinical and professional education in the lecture halls as well as the quality of both the exhibitors’ offers and depth and breadth of the growing supplier base on the trade floor,” added Brown. Implantology given sharper focus as ADI partners DS12. The Dentistry Show is this year supported by a new partnership with the Association of Dental Implantology. Given the increasing demand for more education around implants from the dental community, it was a natural step for The Dentistry Show and the ADI to come together, says Dentistry Show Marketing Manager Lucy Pitt. The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) focuses on implant education and encourages scientific research to improve the standards of implant dentistry, offering support to all members of the dental profession. Kelly Emerson, Education Manager for (ADI) UK is looking forward to the event, “We will be promoting courses and support for the whole practice team,” she says, “and focusing on how dentists can start performing implants. Also the opportunity to network is high and with such a large number of dental professionals expected this year, The Dentistry Show is the best place to do it.”
