TRADE DAYS: WHERE THE TRADE COMES TO DO BUSINESS

“We’ve travelled from West Sussex to be here. It’s nice to see a range of different manufacturers as well as familiar faces. I’m here purely to spend money and I’m doing pretty well so far.” As did Janet Page, Business Manager, IAP Mobility: “We’ve come from Hull for our first trip to Trade Days, hoping to update ourselves on what’s going on, put names to faces, and see new and old products. We’re very impressed with the range on show here. We looked into going to other events but the offering just wasn’t relevant to us” Now in its third year, Trade Days is firmly established as Europe’s sole trade-only event for the homecare, mobility and assistive sectors. Visitor and exhibitor comments yet again demonstrate the success the show helps them to achieve. As Tony Pike, Business Account Manager, Cavendish says: “Trade Days 2016 has been mega! We’ve got existing customers coming back to see us, saying it’s the best thing they’ve ever done. We’re bringing in new products all the time so it’s important to showcase them on our stand. Trade Days attracts everyone you need in one place. We’re absolutely over the moon with it. The professionalism is fantastic.” Here’s what Jenny Wood, Director, My Mobility Superstore thinks: “I attend Trade Days to see new products and meet new suppliers. Other shows aren’t worth going to as they are open to the public. Here it’s trade only so you can have proper conversations with suppliers which makes it a lot more focused. It’s best to come with the whole team too to make purchasing decisions together. I’m sure we’ll be back next year!” Trade Days 2017 will take place on 8-9th October in the NEC, with its usual format: in its own hall with separate entrance, next to the separate Pharmacy Show with crossover points. New developments are also planned, so watch this space for announcements! Trade Days attracts visitors from the length and breadth of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales as well as internationally. Congratulations to the team from Alert-iT who have won the competition on the Photo Booth on the THIIS stand at Trade Days. They now have a free advert in THIIS magazine, worth £495.00 to promote their products. Alert-iT specialises in the design, production, distribution and support of care alarm systems. The Photo Booth proved popular with both retailers visiting the show and companies exhibiting.

This is our first year at Trade Days as we are looking to break into the mobility sector. It’s definitely a great event for us in terms of getting the brand out there to thousands of people, and have conversations with both Trade Days and Pharmacy Show visitors.
