“We’ve travelled from West Sussex to be here. It’s nice to see a range of different manufacturers as well as familiar faces. I’m sure we’ll be back next year!” Trade Days 2017 will take place on 8-9th October in the NEC, with its usual format: in its own hall with separate entrance, next to the separate Pharmacy Show with crossover points. Trade Days Another Resounding Success for Electric Mobility ‘Thank you’ to all of our Dealers who visited us at Trade Days this year. The EMOB Team greatly appreciated just how many of our existing Dealers made the effort to attend, spend time with us and enjoy our hospitality and the opportunity to discuss business in a relaxed setting.

TGA Mobility Scooters and Time Trial Competition - A Winning Combination at Trade Days On stand TE100 at Trade Days (NEC, 25-26th September), TGA, the leading mobility scooter specialist, received healthy product orders and gave exclusive trade deals to winners of its Minimo car boot loading competition.

Continuing with the expansion and growth of our current ranges, we increased the size of our stand this year and blended both practicality and technology to showcase even more new products. We were really delighted with the quantity of sales achieved and the interest shown in the NEW Cosi Chair Hamble & Heddon Economy Chairs, the improved Jubilee TIS, Dual Motor (VAL) Riser and the latest Rascal boot scooter, the Veo Sport with its all-round suspension. The team were kept very busy demonstrating all of these products throughout the show and have continued to do so over the last few weeks when following up the leads.

For the third successive year TGA has experienced a rewarding Trade Days exhibition. The event provided an excellent number of sales enquiries and invaluable networking opportunities. For the 2016 event TGA showcased its complete range of award-winning mobility scooters, wheelchairs and wheelchair powerpacks and also offered a fun time trial competition. This challenge involved retailers testing their skills at folding and loading TGA’s compact and lightweight Minimo mobility scooter into a mocked-up car boot. All retailers who entered and finished in the top five won further Minimo and Minimo Plus discounts in addition to the impressive range of TGA deals on offer. They also won a pop-up graphic banner to assist with point-of-sale promotion. The fastest time to load the Minimo was an amazing 3.52 seconds and was recorded by Dan Griffiths from Easy Living Mobility.

This year was the first year I was given the opportunity to attend Trade Days, and I am so glad I did! This canopy with optional flexible sides has generated significant sales for retailers, especially through the Motability scheme, as it delivers a durable all-weather solution with better visibility than traditional vinyl canopies.

Veo Sport A DEFINITE HEAD TURNER AT THE SHOW was the new Rascal Veo Sport, a 4 mph boot scooter featuring class leading all round suspension for ultimate added comfort, easy and proven robust take apart mechanism, 22 Ah batteries, dual compound soft puncture proof tyres and modern sporty styling. Many Dealers tested out the suspension which was debuted on the stand using a rolling road, impressed with every aspect of the driving experience, many orders were placed at the show. The product was shown in the latest high tech, two-tone matt finishes, in two distinctive colours, Aquamarine and Platinum Grey.
